"The top arrived in good shape on a pallet. No damage and the panel was flat. I bought it unfinished. Required very little sanding. All surfaces appeared to be sanded to 150. There were no machine marks.

"We recently purchased a number of large soft maple floating shelves. It was a substantial purchase and we scoured the website for all available information (size, wood types, etc.). We finally settled on a thickness of 2" because we wanted the shelves to have a substantial feel. When the shelves arrived, we were very surprised that they were not actually crafted from 2" thick boards, but a glue up of two 1" boards. When we called to inquire about this, they informed us that the maximum thickness for a single board is 1.75". This information would have been an important factor in our decision making, and at the time of our purchase it was not available anywhere on the website (they promised to correct this). They provided a store credit of approximately 5% of the purchase amount."
