"I've ordered 5 LED bulbs in a package from HERO-LED thru Amazon. Package arrived timely as listed. I've replaced my halogen under-kitchen cabinet light bulbs with them. After two weeks all 5 LED bulbs stopped working. First they flickered and after a while they went out, period. I've contacted HERO-LED and they told me that they don't know what went wrong, but didn't offer replacement or any refund. I'd ordered another different set of 5 LED bulbs online directly at HERO-LED store. After 10 days I'd asked for the status of my shipment. They'd told me that they had to order the product directly from China and it will take another 15 to 20 days until the shipment will arrive at their fulfillment center. After another 20 days passed by I'd contacted them again. Now they told me that the shipment will take another 10 to 15 days. I believe they have big problems with the delivery of their products. BTW, I have not received anything until today."

"I bought 3 Dimmable R7s LED lamps 78mm AC 85-265V 24-LED SMD 5050 to replace a halogen bulb. HERO-LED would only sell them 3 at a time, even though I only needed one. They took 27 days to arrive in Sweden. I put them in my ceiling fan light. First: they are fairly big such that I had to modify the lamp contacts slightly to lower them enough so the back of the LED lamps would clear the reflector. Second: they started flashing and blinking within a few minutes. Third: when I turn the light off with the remote control, they do not completely turn off since the tiny amount of voltage remaining from the electronic "off" circuit is enough to keep them glowing. This keeps me from being able to have the fan on at night with the light off. All three went into the e-waste, I don't have time to mess with this awful company any more to try to get a refund."

3 of this original order failed within 3 months, I had to provide video and photo proof of the failures to get replacements. Received the replacements 2 of the 3 failed within a month. Multiple emails later convinced them to send 4 more replacements. Only one of the 4 worked. Extremely poor product quality. They wanted me to pay to return the failed ones as well."

"It's hard to tell with chinese companies whether or not you're getting what you ordered. Hero-LED always seems to deliver a higher quality product.
For example. I ordered a 24v LED spotlight from amazon for $50, and the same 24V LED spotlight from HERO-LED for $150. After opening both and inspecting all the components. Even though they looked superficially similar,I can safely say every single component in the HERO-LED part was better (therefore I was not getting ripped-off). The bracket was a thicker gauge steel. There was more aluminum in the casting. There was a ton of sealant (as expected for ip67). The internal power supply was a higher quality. The LED itself was vastly superior.

I've found their service to be great. Their shipping reasonable for china. Their products good.

These other negative reviews are for people who feel cheated when they order literally the cheapest thing on the site. Somethings can't be made cheaply. To expect performance is fantasy."

They required me to send a video of them, which I did. They did not respond to my email for days, and I had to threaten a chargeback. Then, they were responsive. Months later, all but two of the lamps flash. They were tested in both dimmer and non-dimmer circuits. Absolute junk. Spend more elsewhere. Here, you get what you pay for. "

"Anybody considering buying from Hero LED should consider my experience with them. I bought 5 spot LED model LB-EP20-3X3W-UNV-30D which are equivalent to 75 w PAR 20 bulbs. They were 25 $ each. First I had to wait 7 weeks for delivery. But the worse was that in a matter of 6 months, one by one they failed. They are supposed to provide one year warranty. I contacted them 2 months ago and while they promised to send new ones I have not received anything. I would suggest to stay away from them. "

"Ordered a pair of E11 bulbs to replace some light fixture halogen bulbs. The bulbs fit into the fixtures with no problem, but both immediately blew and were ruined with black char material on the bottom of the bulb parts. The company said it was for only 12 volt, but no where did it say not for US household voltage. I think a disclaimer on their site would have helped avoided this wasted purchase and potential fire hazard. The site is very clear about it saying 12 volt all over the page, but what would have been more helpful for us non-electricians is to simply state these LED bulbs are not for US household current. Buy at your own risk. Shipment took exactly 1 month to arrive. I would wait to buy these specialty LED bulbs from a US company to ensure they work and won't be a fire hazard. My fault for not knowing about the 12 volt. Hero-LED's fault for not giving clear disclaimers where these bulbs can be properly used. I wish I had checked reseller ratings.com first before ordering. I usually do when using new sites."

"I ordered $285 worth of LEDs from Hero Led on Sept 27th/2012. After a months delay in them being shipped, I received 90% of my order in a pretty beat-up box from China. (Not that uncommon, and no big deal.)

Most of the products work fine, not sure if they fake their lumen ratings, but their ratings are +20% higher than LED bulbs of the same brightness I have bought locally.

They aren't made to the actual 1156 bulb spec, and therefore don't fit in my reverse lights. Also, one of them separated the bayonet base from the blue heatsink, and the wires have broken from the soldered LED chip. The bulb no longer works, and it is going to be a real pain to re-solder it myself. (I have electronics experience, otherwise this would be impossible.)

I have been in contact with customer service, and they respond quickly, but I still have not received the other 10% of my order of LED strip lights, and it has been 47 days since my payment was cleared. That is horrible service.

I posted a review about the 1156 bulbs on their website, and they have not 'approved it for posting yet', so just know that all the reviews on their website aren't a reflection of the product's true customer rating.

I am requesting a refund on the two 1156 bulbs, as they are complete crap, and are false advertising. Not sure if I will get it, but worth a shot, right?

"I inquired about my order being late, and the store contact asked that I check with my local post office. Sure enough they had the order, but neglected to send me a pickup card. When I got home after picking up the items from the post office, as per the store contact's suggestion, I had a final notice to pick them up from the post office in my mailbox.
