"I purchased a pair of Grado SR80 headphones from HCM Audio. Did a search for the best price for them but every where I looked the were the same price. 95 dollars. HCM Audio threw in free 3 day shipping and a quality extension cable.
I recieved the SR80s within the aloted time. I listend to them for a few hours and then they started acting up. Left channel would not come on. So I tried a few things. Different equipment. Still no left channel. Finally I just kept turning up the volume and the channel finally came back in. To say the least it did not sound like the right channel.
Anyway I contacted HCM Audio and within 24 hours if not faster they replied with some suggestions to try which most I did already. Well I did what they asked still a no go.
Contacted them again. Recieved a prompt reply saying they were sorry I was having trouble. They also sent an rma number. We agreed to charge my card for another set which they would ship promptly. We also agreeded that when they recieve the defective set that they would credit my card.
Everything worked fine. They checked this set before the went out. Sometime that is just the way it goes. You get a Lemon. It is nice to have purchased from a company that stands behind the sale.
Would recommend in a heart beat."
