"I placed an order on 6 June with www. hbwatches.com and my order as of 20 June still shows "processing". My bank still shows "pending". Will somebody please post the phone number to this company. I've E-mailed them twice with no replies.

I ordered two watches and paid via PayPal on Dec
6, 2007, that's over 3 months ago but I still have not received the watches as yet. I do have the proof of Payment from PayPal. It should not take this long to process and send the order. I emailed over six times and left voice messages for them to please track this order to let me know the status of the order and call me back but there were no response whatsoever.
I have informed and opened a dispute with Paypal and AMEX. I have also contacted the Federal Trade Commission - the Bureau of Consumer Protection, phonebusters.com and Reporting Economic Crime Online (RECOL)."

"I placed my order for the item on a Saturday knowing that it was out of stock (I planned on waiting for it to restock). On Monday, I used their inquiry form to ask when the item would be restocked. Three or four hours later, I received a notice stating that my item had been shipped. I'm not sure if there was a glitch in the system or if they really did restock that fast. In either case, the ordering process was smooth, and they were prompt (and polite) when answering my questions.
I received the item within the stated shipping time (2 to 3 days using Priority Mail). The item I received was in excellent condition (including the carton it came in). The picture of the item on the website was pretty close to the item in person (the screen of the watch looked a bit brighter on the website, though). It came with everything that you would expect (manual, tag, etc.)"
"It was a pleasure to use HB Watches. I purchased the just released Casio PAW1200-3V Atomic Pathfinder that is hard to get. When I searched for prices, HB Watches was the cheapest (and an authorized dealer), but had too few reviews. I was hesitant, but I emailed them to see if they had the item in stock. They did, and although I could order on-line, I decided to call and a human picked up the phone. The kind gentlemen walked me through the website to place the order and it was shipped the same day.
HB Watches seems to be a class act. This is particularly true for Brooklyn, NY based mail/internet order companies. I would not hesitate in ordering several hundreds of Dollars worth of goods from them.

In HB Watches we have a new upstart company.
I found the owner to be a pleasant professional individual. While looking for a particular new model of a watch, I called the company to verify that the model was indeed in stock. (Many other companies reported the watch in stock on their web site. But when telephoned to verify,…the response was always, that they expected the watch in any day now.)
THE WEB SERVICE
After confirming the watch was indeed in stock, I started the ordering process on the company’s web site. I found the web sites design was professionally laid out. However I was confessed for a moment by the sites payment method process.
I relayed the momentary confusion I had with the company’s web site to the owner. In literally minutes I received an E-mail response that the web sites payment method was now fixed to simplify the process.
THE SERVICE
I was amazed at this new company’s customer service. My E-mails were responded to literally within minutes. It was such a refreshing change. In my experience with most competitive companies, an E-mail response usually took days to receive. That is,…. If the company even bothers to respond at all!
EASE OF CONTACT
A telephone contact number is plainly posted on the company’s web site. And it is still the owner of this company who answers the telephone.
SHIPPING
The package I ordered was shipped within hours of my order. An E-mail provided me with a tracking number.
The package arrived as, and when expected.
CONCLUSION
This is a new company that gave me the impression that it wants to succeed. And unlike many new companies out there,….it realizes the path to success is through taking care of it’s customers.
