"I purchased a few 80-count boxes of Caribou blend k-cups which showed as being free plus shipping. They canceled this order as it was clearly a price mistake on their part. But then they mailed a single 80-count box completely for free. Most merchants will not honor mistakes like this. I will be purchasing from them in the future. "

"Ordered couple of thermos, received order confirmation. After 3 days got cancellation mail , and marketing mails spammed me frequently. Went to unsubscribe them, found out that they automatically subscribed me to receive email, phone and snail mail material from not only Green mountain group but also set to share my info to 3rd party. Unsubscribed all, but they still have my info lying in their system which I am not sure if they stop sharing with 3rd party."

"I ordered two items from this store. They took my shipping info, credit card number, etc. A few days later I received an order cancellation email for one of the items. The cancellation email stated the other item on my order would be shipped shortly.
About a week later they sent another e-mail canceling the last item on my order.
Now, without my consent they start bombarding me with promotional offers to email address they got at time of the order.
Horrible experience with this company!

"Like many others, I "successfully" placed an order for 2 items that showed to be IN STOCK. The next day they sent me an email saying the order had been entered and would ship via FEDEX in 2 days from when I'd placed it.

Three days later, they sent me an cancellation letter. It was addressed to "undisclosed recipients" and was clearly a mass-mailing. Soon after I received an email from them trying to sell me something else. When I went back to their site to unsubscribe, I found that BY DEFAULT, they had checked the option for me to receive U.S. Postal Service letters AND emails from them AND 3rd party sellers.

It makes me think of bait & switch ONLY so they could gain marketing addresses and emails…not to mention CREDIT CARD information!

They clearly have some company practices that border on unethical.

UPDATE: I'm upgrading my review, as I called them AGAIN. This time they had something similar with which they were willing to switch for the ordered items (had nothing in stock previously) with very little fuss (as opposed to previous contact). After receiving it, I'm very happy with the item's quality. I think they have a STEEP learning curve ahead for customer service when there's not an IMMEDIATE solution.

"Got my Thermos today, works well.
Got 2 via fedex.

Super Good Price.

The people below are bitter because they tried to cheat the system like people from SlickDeals are known for.

And this time it didn't work, and they got cancellations for using a discount that wasn't intended for them.

So they come here and cry like school kids because they didn't get their way.

Slickdealer's need to grow up. Cry babies.....

"I ordered 2 stainless steel thermos and a travel mug and at the time of my order all items showed up as in stock. However, two days after my order I received the following email from GMC saying the thermos was discontinued and that it was being cancelled from my order,

"Your recent order contained Tully's™ Stainless Steel Thermos (item T41172). This item has been discontinued, so we canceled it from your order to allow the in-stock items to ship. If your order only contained this item, your order was canceled. "

I emailed their customer service to see if my travel mug would ship and received this response,

"Thank you for your response. The item that will be shipping on order number R030859122 is the MUG TRAVEL- BODUM Blue 12oz.
Sincerely,
Chrissy"

However, 5 days later I got another email saying,

"Your recent order contained the bodum® Blue Mini Travel Mug (item T41205), which has been discontinued . It has been canceled from your order to allow the in-stock items to ship. If your order only contained this item, your order has been canceled."

So, a week after the order was placed I've now received 2 cancellations. Bottom line - their website said the thermos and travel mug were in stock when I purchased them, however, they later cancelled the order saying these items are now discontinued.

Order at your own risk. You have no way to know whether they'll cancel your order 1 day, 2 days or a week later. Better hope you're not ordering something last minute for someone else.

I've no intention of going through this again and will no longer purchase anything from Green Mountain Coffee. Very disappointed.

"I ordered the stainless steel thermos from here and I was expecting to receive it soon. My order was canceled and I didn't even receive an email saying it was canceled. Horrible service. I had to log into my account on their website to find out why it was taking so long. Bad online seller, system didn't update when the item went out of stock. Not recommended."
