"I am fed up of this internet service so much that I had to come here and make a whole account just to tell you how terrible this service is. I can't even use it for a SINGLE HOUR without it cutting out every 15 minutes EVERY SINGLE DAY! I cannot do my school, I cannot watch a single video, I can't even finish game, can't finish call, can't text, can't do nothing because the internet cuts out for what reason? I DON'T KNOW! There is literally no reason for an internet service to be so bad. I hope this company crashes in the future because this is run by nobody but pure scammers that don't know what they are doing. Please use another service and never use Gowifi because they are fools.

"This is absolutely the worst service you can ever have the displeasure of buying. You can't even buffer videos at 480p. Any service members who read this, use your phone Hotspot or just buy one. GoWifi charges 50 dollars for less than 1Mb speed downloads. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!"
"I don't need super fast internet service. I don't game, and hardly ever watch movies. I mostly use my internet to study and read. Overall, the service is terrible. I have contacted customer service several times. Mostly because the service goes down or is experiencing an outage for no apparent reason. When it does work the service is terribly slow and cuts out all the time. I would pay for better service, but its not an option. I I would just pay to use my phone as a hotspot, but for some weird reason, there is no cell phone reception on this base or any of my previous ones in or around the barracks. Which really **** because I want to video chat with my family back home. Anytime I want to see them I either have get far enough from the barracks or try and use the very spotty wi-fi calling. Its really unfair and frustrating."
"Currently on a detachment and I can't even do school work. I'm on this detachment for a month and not being able to do any school work is detrimental to my degree. I'm astounded as to how trash GoWiFi is, with the amount of reviews for GoWiFi you would think they would do something to change it or the Navy Lodge would choose someone else to provide their internet. This is the 21st century and we are working with worse than dial-up internet speeds.

"I'm paying $59.95 a month for this service. Which is supposed to let me connect up to 5 devices. I only have 3 devices: my phone, my xbox and my laptop that i seldom use. Now for that price, i dont expect outstanding speed or anything but i ATLEAST EXPECT IT TO WORK!! I haven't had internet for a month and every time i submit a trouble ticket i get the same generic response like "there is an outage in your area and we've escalated the issue however we don't have an ETA on when it will be repaired". They haven't done anything since but they sure are quick to take your money! This company is nothing more than a scam"

"They charge over 20 dollars for 5 mbps and you are only allowed to have one device on wifi that crashes every other minute. In comparison, other businesses usually charge 30 dollars for 50 mbps and you can have more than one device. I'd only suggest getting this if you like wasting money. "
"This is honestly the worst internet service provider imagineable. $59.95 for 5G service with "up to 60 mgps". Read that "up to" very carefully. That is Viasat's loophole for getting out of a lawsuit. Download speed normally operates around 40 mgps with just one device connected on the 5G network. That is when it's actually working. Most of the time, the download and upload speeds drop below 1 mbps. Just tested the strength while writing this review; 0.08 mbps download, 0.03 mbps upload and it has been like this for the past 2 weeks. $59.95 a month for the best plan will get you nothing. This company will pleasure themselves inside of you and won't even have the common decency to offer you a reach-around. "

"$30 a month for 3Mbd/s speeds is comparably one of the worst deals in the United states which is already considered to have terrible internet service globally. On top of this, Gowifi (Viasat) service is completely unreliable. Service drops below 1Mbd/s during peek hours every day and will go down repeatably. Consider yourself lucky if it comes back up right away. Service went down in our barracks 3 days ago and doesn't appear to be returning anytime soon. Other service providers will give a partial refund if they are not able to provide the agreed service for an extended period of time. No such luck with Gowifi. Outside of data hotspot, Gowifi is our only option for internet in the barracks. You are forced to agree to less service for a higher price and have no recourse should they fail to provide even that. Service members are hungry for literally any other service provider to comer here and compete with Gowifi. "
