"My name is Michel Turcot and i would like to present my apologies to GM Parts Depot Canada for a very bad review i left yesterday.
My inexperience using a transactional website properly led me to miss entering the promotional code for free shipping. When i got confirmation for my purchase and i saw the shipping charges, i did not contact the store before i wrote my very bad review.
When i did contact the store, Chris fix the problem in less than 5 minutes.
My inexperience and the fact that i 'jump the gun' is entirely MY fault.

"BUYER BEWARE!!!! SCAMMER ALERT!! Shoutout to this Company for sending me the wrong part and penalizing me for it. I matched the VIN and the part numbers for my vehicle and they send me the wrong part. To boot they tried charging me a 30% restocking fee for their wrote doing when i asked for a refund to be processed. Then when I asked for a full refund because they sent the complete wrong part they ignore me and don't proceed to help me process a refund at all. I'm a college student and already struggling through the pandemic like many Canadians this year. No wonder everyone shops at Amazon these days... hopefully these guys get put out of business too. Big scammers..."

_ Interesting that somewhere in the supply chain someone tore open the plastic bag 4" and attached a couple different 'made in canada' stickers. When the product mold contains an embedded 'Made in Canada' .
_ This mold seemed to be lighter/thinner than original part, and one of the two sensor grommet holes was cut open slightly off centre.
_ Was "FedEx couriered overnight" service (of 4 offerings/scenarios) supplied, the one GMPD actually paid them for 'customer recovery' !? Considering it actually took 2 'overnights' before it arrived !!
_ Dang, wish I had heard about a certain auto recycler 3 weeks earlier. After hearing about them, this past Friday (8th) dropped by to scrounge for another item, and found this part uncompromised and acquired it as a 'back-up'. Would ah saved $130 !! yeeeech "
"Ordered a part from gmpartsdepot.ca Received a confirmation email, then nothing... After 8 days I sent an email asking for the status of my order, no response... After 2 weeks I checked and the order had been cancelled. Again I sent an email asking why the order had been cancelled, no response. I would not recommend doing business with this web. site.
I have since been contacted by Chris Ellard and am satisfied they made a good effort to contact me, but for some reason the emails were not received. Therefore I have amended my rating. "
