"Getaboutoz is the worst company ever! Last year we decided to rent a vehicle. Getaboutoz is like a travel agency between you and for example Apollo or Britz etc. In the beginning they are really helpful and trying to get the best 'deal' , you start to believe them. We also did the rentalcover insurance. However when we picked up our campervan we had a lot of problems. If you do a rental cover insurance you still have to pay the 3000 that they hold back on your creditcard. This isn't really there fault but when we asked them for help they didn't responded at all. We called and emailed, they simple don't answer your questions when you are in need. And on top off this, our creditcard got hacked by them. We know this because we only used it to pay the vehicle.. So it's been a few months now and we can't do anything about it but I thought the only thing I can do is to warn other travelers. Don't make the same mistake we did. I would recommend just to make a reservation with a renting company directly.

"I chose a vehicle on their site. The next day they sent an email with alternative options. After my reply, they replied back pretty quickly, and even if I forgot to reply (as you sometimes do), they usually sent me a reminder. They also actually call you on request so you understand better what your options are. I needed an anchor point for my road trip and they made sure the van was suitable for my baby. The van turned out to be decent, and trip went well. I'm pleased with the service I've received with this company."

"used them for a trip to Tasmania. good price and reasonable service. some sites allow users to book online but then u need to pay the full price. with getabout it took a few days of emails and calls but the price was much better. highly recommend for trips to australia."
"They have a multilingual team and that's quite impressive. People at the call centre were nice and helpful. The rates for the campervans they offered to me were competitive, but not as cheap as they advertised on their website. Would recommend Getaboutoz to other travelers but maybe give them a call first to check when is the best time to get a good deal. "
