"In early March, ordered a reconditioned Gentron Generator. It came in short order, but when opened up, was broke and parts loose or missing. Service asked for me to take pictures and remit, Idid. Sent another one after a couple of weeks and that one was in complete mess also. They sent for the two generators and received them back in early April. Here it is late April and as yet no returm money. The owner company is a complete farce and even e-mails or phone calls are not answered. The accounts payable office has posted hours, but when you call, the phone is not answered by a human. LEAVE A MESSAGE. HA-HA.
Will not recomend anyone to go through this mess. Look elsewhere and you can find a better deal, I DID. "
"Because their generator prices were so low and their shipping was free, I was very hesitant to believe that Generator Depot was a real company and not some sort of scam. But after checking their business license and closely monitoring my VISA account, I found that they were totally legitimate. My order was shipped in a timely fashion, but the generator was damaged, through no fault of Generator Depot. I phoned their service manager, who immediately sent a pick-up order to their shipper. The damaged generator was picked up the following day and I received a new one about a week later. I was very pleased with Generator Depot’s customer service and the speed with which the product was shipped.
I thoroughly tested my generator and then used it extensively, during a recent camping trip. I am very pleased with Generator Depot’s service and with the product that I purchased from them. I would recommend them highly, if you are looking for a reliable supplier of the basic (not high end) products that they carry. Their price value was very good."
