"I order a PowMax 500W power supply and the one I received was less than what was advertised on their site. Also, they claim it is AMD approved and it appears nowhere on AMD's site. (I contacted PowMax/Leadman, the manufacturer, and the response was that you won't know what you get from them until you open the box and read the label. In other words if you buy their products from anyone you get a surprise package or a pig in a poke.) That was two weeks ago and MixPc.com/N S Technologies has ignored the emails I've sent them about returning it. I filed a BBB complaint on them a week ago. They definitely misrepresented this product. They say they aren't responsible for typos but "Recommended by AMD" is hardly a typo let alone the specification differences. Numerous complaints about them on this site concern the substitution of inferior merchandise. I always use a credit card to protect myself from underhanded outfits such as this. Dealing with them is a hassle nobody needs. I should have checked here first."
