Lousy Customer Service and delivery service

"Took over a month to gets parts delivered and no phone to talk with a human. Ended up canceling the order and this caused great delay trying to get parts i the end from another supplier. I do not recommend these guys."

Part works and shipped on time!

"I ordered a license plate bracket for my 2015 Tahoe a few days before New Years Day. I didn’t hear anything for a few days and was not concerned because I was sure everyone was on their holiday break. On Jan 3rd I was concerned and sent an email. Like many others, I later read about the horror stories on here. I wasn’t expecting a response, but on 6 Jan, I received a response that GM was backlogged, but I should receive my part within the 7-10 business days they had mentioned when I ordered online. I became concerned and started looking at other options to order my part and put a stop payment on the money they received from my credit card. Well, the next day, I received an email that my part had shipped. Today, I received my part and all the hardware required to install my part. I will admit, I was skeptical, but now, I’m very happy with my whole experience. I’m sorry it didn’t work for so many others. If I need to order parts again, I will definitely use GMPartsDirect!"

Scam outfit

"Don't expect to get your parts in a reasonable amount of time and you definitely won't be able to get any updates. You can call and leave a number for them to call you back (but they never will) you can also send an email asking for an update (but they will never reply). One way you can get in contact with them is to call the FLOW Chevy dealership and you'll get transferred to the online parts department. Then you can cancel the order that you'll never get, but they will charge you a $58 restocking fee to restock items they don't have (though they don't tell you that at time you cancel). This place just steals money and is no better than your typical Russian or Chinese cyber-criminal. Not a serious business, but a lazy operation set up to charge people for bogus fees."

Scam Business

"Tells me I am ordering an Original GM part, ends up showing up early and its ACDelco, the name of the person who sent this Floyd Norton that works for this company also approved it knowing first hand what I asked for in my email. So essentially this person decided to ripp me off. 60$ Shipping to Canada(Specifically so I can get the ORIGINAL) since the part is on 20$. Well this Floyd Norton decided to send me the incorrect part knowing full well what I asked for...what a joke. To top it off, they tell me its Original OEM, when its manufactor is ACDelco and the website states the Manufacture is General Motors, talk about false advertising

Do Not Conduct Business With this Shady business

"Ordered parts that needed to come straight from GM. Website said 5-7 business days, no update on the fifth day so I tried calling 3 times, left messages with no response. Tried calling once or twice a day for the next few days with no luck, only a voicemail. So sent a email on their "trouble ticket site" asking for an update to the order 8 business days after placing the order. Didn't hear back, so on the 11th business day of never hearing anything I sent a email just saying to cancel order. Went to Rock Auto, ordered the exact same parts that had to be ordered from GM and got them within 2 weeks. Fixed my car and moved on with life till one month after the order was placed with GMpartsdirect they sent an email saying my stuff was shipped. I refused the package, sent another email to them and have opened a claim with my credit card for the cost and any "restocking fee" they try to pull. The parts where not ordered when I told them to cancel, nor did I ever receive them so no restocking fee exist. In the industry the restocking fee is for parts I send back. That is understandable. "

terrible business practices no customer service

"This company should close its online store b/c it is under staffed. The regular parts counter told me. They also said that they can't help with online parts, that's a different business, and I would have to contact them directly. After calling back to back several times i did finally get someone who was absolutely oblivious to their job and they gave me some runaround about why my part wasn't there yet after 30 days. I have just sent them an email requesting to cancel order and found that even though they have not gotten the part in, that's why i'm cancelling the order. They are going to charge me a restocking fee of 35% = $95.00. well I'm in Charlotte I guess I'll have to make a trip to Winsten Salem to see these guys face to face. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND A LOT OF MONEY."

These guys are crooks!

"We ordered a part not realizing the VIN number was mandatory. Husband contacted them to rectify - and wound up getting 2 wrong parts thanks to their online diagram listing the wrong part. Now they will not send the return label and want to charge us the restocking fee for the wrong parts received! It is impossible to actually speak to someone (husband was lucky once) and now we are getting crickets when attempting to return the wrong items. They do not answer emails or answer the phone! Planning to report them to the BBB. Called credit card company to dispute the charges. Was told to send the items back on our dime and we will go from there. "

Don't ever buy from here!

"If you thought rock auto was bad, this place is 100% worse! This place is run like a government run program. When you need status on your claim, order, return, there is no one to be found. And when you finally get a hold of someone, they have a script ready to go to write you off! They can't tell you where your parts are exactly and when you can expect them! WTF?!... Don't waste your time or money! Both are way too precious to waste on these clowns. "

Bait and switch

"Ordered front door wind deflectors for my GMC Sierra, they said wrong part number, send 30 more dollars for right deflector kit. Find out its four pieces, tried to cancel, and go back to my original order, charged me 35 percent restock fee. Customer service is not. "
