"The battery in my daughter's Macintosh Powerbook would no longer hold a charge, so we bought her a new notebook (an Acer), and told her that I would keep the Mac and try to fix it up. I started looking for replacement batteries, and happened to come across an ad for Freshbattery. Their price was good, shipping (UPS Ground) was free, and with a code word I was able to save an additional 15% off the regular price. I had noticed some favorable comments about the company by other companies who had bought batteries from them, so I decided to order the battery I needed for the Mac. Order was shipped the same day, and was supposed to arrive on Mon, 7/14. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived on Fri, 7/11. Replaced the old dying battery with the new one, and it charged right up. I let it discharge in order to calibrate it, and it's on its second charge now. I'm very pleased with the service I received from Freshbattery ... would order from them again. By the way, their website (www.freshbattery.com) has a lot of helpful information. "
