"This company is a HUGE misunderstanding!

Shopping at Farrelli is my worst experience ever! And I do not recommend anybody to make any business with them!

I ordered TV stand in their company in the mid of April 2012 online. According to the information placed on their website, the ordered item should be shipped out within 2 to 7 business days from this moment. However, in my case they didn't ship the TV stand until my reminding phone call to Farrelli in June! They even didn't charge my credit card until this time! And after finally charging my credit card, it took for them another 2 weeks or so to ship out the TV stand (definitely more than 2-7 business days).

When the item has been finally delivered in the beginning of July 2012, it turned out that the TV stand has a crack in the front drawer. Immediately after I found it out I called the company (and left voice message), and also sent email with attached pictures of the defect, but they have serious problem with the customer service... nobody replied my email, as well as nobody called me back. The problem is, they even do not answer phone calls during their regular working hours. It took me literally almost a week to finally talk to somebody and report my issue!! Can you imagine this?

But the top of everything was Farrelli's employee's attitude to my problem. Every time I was talking to him (if the answered the phone in the first place), he was saying something different, just to postpone the whole action. And he NEVER called me back despite he always was saying so. Basically, there was never clear information given to me, and generally, there is no contact with the company since they do not answer phone calls.

Honestly, I have never met that kind of customer service in my life. Doing business with this company simply turned into a NIGHTMARE!

Then I was told that the new TV stand will be shipped to me (it was 3 weeks ago), and today I made a phone call to them and you know what? In the middle of the conversation I was put on hold and then disconnected... the info I got is that they won't ship the new item to me since first they need me to return the old one... Another thing is, they kept saying that I need an original box for the item in order to return it. But it is impossible to store this huge carton in my apartment for almost 3 or 4 months. Maybe if they answered or replied my phone calls right after I reported the issue, I would still have it, but there was no response from them for so many days and they were changing their mind each time we talked... Now it is the end of August and the case is still not solved. Would you like your purchase lasts almost 5 months?

Clearly, Farrelli's policy is to insult and ignore their customers. I don't recommend dealing with this company to anybody, unless you want your dream purchase turns into a nightmare.

"These are all fake reviews, these people are a bunch of liars and scammers, can not even get my money back from them, been waiting a month and have been strung along, every week they have a new estimated shipping date. Do not bother to do business with them"

"I purchased Modern Red Sofa-Set for the lobby of my office. They've been in place for just a couple days and I've gotten a dozen or so comments on how nice the couch and chairs looked and how comfortable they are. My staff has started holding meetings in the lobby :) !
I really appreciate to Farrelli and customer service department for their excellent job!

"Farrelli furniture is fake and I highly advise anyone interested in their product to do your research before sending off any money... I spoke with H Studio, who had a few of their pieces on the Farrelli website, and they said they don't do any business with the company... I called Farrelli back and the guy was trying to give me the run around by saying that they go by other company names and so forth... I told him I would like for him to simply call H Studio on the phone to clear up the confusion and he said that it was impossible to do such a thing... No question that they are running a scam so be aware!!!!"

"PLEASE BE AWARE!

FARRELLI.COM Furniture

Do not waste your money and your time! After I got into this trap, I found a lot of customers who lost their money and complained about the business on public web sites.

I purchased the sectional on 11/8. I was told that I'd receive a 5% discount if I used PayPal or wire transfer. Wire transfer is an unsafe payment method (the first red flag), so I opted for PayPal with the added protection of using my AMEX card as the draw.

I was further told that the $149 shipping on the website would not do. I had to ask about it, as "Victor" simply said that shipping would be $249, and that it would mean 7-10 days instead of it shipping in 2 or 3 weeks. He also said that they were two different companies and that the one he offered was better. As this was nearly offset by the 5% discount, I agreed.

It concerns me that the website says "Farrelli", the contact info is for "Modern Furniture for Home and Office Warehouse", that the person "Victor" who called me after I placed an offer was less than easy to communicate with, and that "Victor" sent me an invoice from "Vlad Kash." The address was not a business address, the phone number looks like a cellphone and the invoice number is 0001.

I sent an e-mail the next day asking when I would receive notice of shipment and any tracking information. I got no response. I called "Victor" who told me that I needed to call someone else. He had no answer when I asked who Vlad Kash was. The 1-800 number got me back to Victor, who was AGAIN NOT HELPFUL. I spoke with someone reasonable from customer service named Aaron who said he would talk to Victor and send me an e-mail with relevant info. Aaron told me that the sofa would go out in "2 to 3 weeks", which is NOT what Victor said and the reason for paying for the more premium shipping option.

That e-mail specifically from Aaron never came. I DID the following e-mail below referring me to the same generic number that I reached Victor by on the Farrelli online site.

I have called the store at least 12 times and there is always a different excuse and different new estimated date of shipping. I asked to speak to a manager several times. I was always told to call back in 10 min. I did, and, for roughly the 8th time, I could not get through to speak to a manager or anybody in charge. It looks like it's a bunch of liars on the other end. After 15 phone calls, multiple promises in terms of shipping dates, they had cancelled my order. So after waiting a month for the couch, I'm told my order was cancelled because I initiated a dispute.

After researching about the company on Internet, I found out that the business is closed according to Yelp - http://www.yelp.com/biz/farrelli-elizabeth. No information about Farrelli as a legit business at all. No reviews, no ratings. Other people were questioning the same at http://answers.yahoo.com (type in 'farrelli' in the search). Another concerning fact is that the phone number (1-***-***-****) is associated with another website - efstyle.com. There is a ton of complaints all over the Internet about this store (complaints.com, ripoffreport.com, scaminformer.com), simply type in "efstyle reviews" or "efstyle complaints". People say they have several websites and doing business under few names.

Farrelli are incompetent liars! This company is fraud! Once they get your money, you will not receive your merchandise or refunds. If you try to complain they will do everything they can to evade your attempts to contact them. Don't make such companies ruin your important events of the year! Research the business when ordering online!
