Well today, Feb. 7, 2018, I received my $470 refund. Hallelujah! After they had hung up on me this past Saturday, I left them a voicemail message saying I would file a fraud report with my bank if i didn't receive the refund today. I'm glad I got it back. "My service company quoted me $900.00 for a motor fan blade and a work around start capacitor I checked Google for the B1141658 and motor places that had the motor did not have the original start unit saying it was obsolete and what they had was extremely high. I checked bing.com and came up with famous parts . com which had the original start unit also had the exact condenser fan motor and the exact blade at 1/3rd the price fast shipping received in 2 days excellent packaging and a manufacture's warranty of one year from date of purchase. However, when it came to customer service, I tried to inquire via the email address provided on the website (****@****) if it was possible to return the product within the three day period. However, I never received a response and the three days lapsed."

This order was placed on Aug 22 and I tried to find out the tracking number since it's been over 2 weeks.
Instead of getting a tracking number their parts technician tells me that they were not able to process the order and needed measurements of the screws of the part.
He said there was an "attempt" to get in touch with me but I did not hear anything from them.
He said he would cancel the order since it is a hard item to find - when it is listed on the website.
Your website says 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. Please do better to back it up."

"Ordered part for hot water heater in December 2011 only to find out I had to replace the whole hot water heater. I never took the part out of the box. So I mailed the part back on 1/9/12.Spoke with Rich about the status of my refund. He told me he had to send my part to the mfg to check out part before he could refund my money. He told me to call back in 2 weeks. I called him back in 3 weeks inquiring about my refund. Now he says the sent it back to the mfg 1/24/12, funny why he sat on my part for 3 weeks but anyway.... He became upset and told me I should have my refund in 7 days. I call him for the 3rd time 3/6/12. He put me on hold then hung up on me and now will not answer the phone. Way to go Rich!!!! FamousParts.com customer service is terrible. Now I have just learned he shipped me back the part after having it for almost 2 months probably stating I used it, broke it ,or its not sellable. All of which are lies. So much for the 100% satisfaction guaranteed. I will never deal with this jerk again and will do my part to make sure anyone I know and dont know does the same. I would given famous parts 0 stars but it was not an option. Be a man!!!!
Added 3/8/12 - So your reply explains why you hung up on me and drug this out for 2 months, Nice!!!. Could of easily told me all this the very first time I called you but nope you never intended on refunding my money from day one. I only opened the package because it was opened first by whoever put mypacking notice in it. It was never about the money but the principle. BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!"
