"Ordered a sample on 5/15/11. Charged my credit card immediately. Received an email 2 weeks later saying they could not fulfill my order and that I should contact my credit card company to get a refund (never had anyone tell me that before). Did not respond to phone calls and messages. Are you seeing a pattern here? Don't believe the "This is a 5 star review" comments. "

"DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!
I didn't read the reviews before I ordered, unfortunately. I ordered two months ago, and still haven't received anything. They don't return e-mails and are impossible to get on the phone (don't bother leaving a message, that certainly won't get returned). The two times I did get to speak to someone, I was told "your order is in shipment, we just haven't entered the tracking number in our website." Still haven't received anything. Today I had to call my credit card to get the charges reversed. What a screwed up way to run a business.

"On 5/8/11, I placed an order online at www.everyfloor.com for glass tiles for over $600. I am in another state. After no contact and no delivery, I called on 5/24 and they told me there was a 2 week delay. On 5/26, I received an automated email saying they couldn't fill my order and I should contact my credit card company for a refund. I have called many times since and only get voicemail, and they don't respond to emails either. I notified my bank of the fraud, and filed a report tonight with BBB in Florida. These people need to be put out of business; they are committing credit card and wire fraud over state lines.

I filed a report with the FL attorney general on 6-6-11. Every Floor's website is still up offering the items they couldn't deliver to me. I recommend everyone notify the FL AG of their problems to keep others from going through the same issues. This company needs to be shut down.

"EveryFloor.com is terrible!!! I ordered tile on 4/27 and on 5/26 received an email stating for "unforeseen circumstances" they were unable to complete my order and that I should contact my credit card company for a refund. When I asked if it wasn't EveryFloor's responsibility to issue a refund, the guy hung up!!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!"

"I wish I had read this before I ordered. I still thought I was getting my money back. I ordered on 4/16, credit card was charged immediately, no response on predicted ship date after numerous attempts. Cancelled order on 5/9 - was told I'd get a refund within 72 hours. Still waiting...

"DO NOT ORDER from everyfloor.com!!!
I placed a very large order on April 5, 2011 with Julio. I was told that the tile was in stock in Texas at the manufacturer's warehouse and that I would receive it within 2 weeks. I was also told that I would be emailed a tracking number once it was on its way.
On 4/22/11 I spoke with Julio and was told that there were 2 holidays and that was why I hadn't rec'd the tile. He told me they would ship them next week and that, "It's going good."
On 4/28/11 I spoke with a rude woman named Jessie who told me she would call the warehouse and get back to me. She did not.
On 4/29/11 I called again and she put me on hold for over 15 mins. I called back and left a message on an answering machine. She picked up the phone at 2PM and said, "Please hold." And never picked up the phone. I spoke with Julio again and he promised me the tile by Tues. and that he would email a tracking number.
For several days I emailed and left messages on their answering machine. Nothing.
Today, 5/25/11, I contacted the NY State Police and found that this can be considered credit card fraud. I contacted Julio today to cancel the order and I am giving them one chance only to refund my money (nearly $5000!!) by 5/27/11
DO NOT under any circumstances do any online business with this company. It is a scam.

"Our order was ordered by Fritz Tile, but Every Floor never paid them. We ordered our tile on March 16th, it is now May 23rd and Every Floor has still not paid Fritz Tile. We are now going to our credit card company, the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General of Florida. The first person, Mark, who helped me order the tile seem very good. He no longer works at Every Floor. This is not a good company. They would not even give us someone to talk with about this issue. The person who answers the phone is IT. Do not buy from this store....the are NOT honest. "

"Purchase made from Everyfloor.com via their 1-800 number. Tile was purchased on 4/27/2011, for $759.22 paid for with visa check card, 60 pieces of Tesoro Listello12 x 12 Reflections Jazzy Penny Round Mosaic Tile.

Was told it would ship by 5/6/2011. As of yesterday, 5/23/2011, tile has not shipped. When I call I keep getting a gentleman by the name of Julio, who keeps telling me it's going to ship in the next day and he'll call me back with tracking info. When this hasn't proven true, I've asked to speak with a manager who he always tells me is not there. He assures me he will have someone call me back - but they never do. Have also tried sending emails through their customer service link online as well but no one ever responds. Yesterday, I finally expressed my frustration to Julio and he refused to help me because he said I wasn't being appreciative. His customer service skills are a joke! I've been EXTREMELY polite and patient up to this point. I could even deal with adelay if they could explain the hold-up and manage my expectations. The run-around and poor customer service I am getting is leading me to believe that this company is a FRAUD! I'm out a lot of money, no tile, project completely on hold and out money paid to contractors now unable to work because the tile is not here.

I reported it to the BBB today. If no response is received, I WILL be contacting the Florida Secretary of State office as well!

Also - may or may not be related, had to report fraudulent charges and cancel the same Visa card just this week. Doesn't impact this purchase as charge was made and cleared a month ago, just seems fishy as it's a card I rarely use!


UPDATE: after contacting the BBB and sending basically the letter above, I got an email from Julio saying that due to unforeseen circumstances, my order was unable to be fulfilled and they were canceling and that I should contact my credit card company to seek reimbursement.

Also, I called the manufacturer of the tile and they had a record of my order - basically it had been sitting for a month and just not picked up. There wasn't anything they could do as they didn't have my payment and they don't sell directly to the public. They referred me to another online reseller they recommended.

Today I placed the order through their recommended reseller. Price was a little more but they were willing to work with me. When I told them what I had been through, he told me he's heard of this scam before - basically they take your money then leave it up to you to seek your own collection because it will take longer and in the mean time, they use your money and can gain interest on it. I guess sometimes the credit card companies will even just write it off if they can't complete their investigation. The new reseller was able to give me a great price, however a little more expensive than every floor's price. Basically - he said there was no way anyone could sell this tile for the price Every Floor advertised, and make money - it would have been for a loss, and they are even a MUCH BIGGER company and can negotiate lower costs with the manufacturer. Bottom Line, I don't think every floor ever had any intention of fulfilling my order. This business is a SCAM!!

"BEWARE! DO NOT order from everyfloor.com! I think the good reviews below are by the company itself.
Ordered tile, when I followed up on the delivery time 2 weeks later I was told (like someone mentioned in another review)that the price of the order plus shipping was higher than they had charged me and they could not ship it cause they would be loosing money. I paid for the difference under the agreement that they would ship asap. A week later tile still hadn't shipped. They assured me it was picked up by the carrier and gave me a tracking number. Guess what? the number didn't work even a day later, and when I called the carrier there was not even a pickup scheduled from everyfloor.com.
Of course then everyfloor stopped answering the phone, so at this point I can't even tell them to give me my money back.
I think the whole thing was just a scam.

"I placed an order for a floor medallion on their website, the order was received and processed, and my credit card was charged. They then contacted me and told me that their price was actually considerably higher than the price they had sold me the item for. Hence, they told me they would be keeping my payment as a "deposit" and would like me fork over more money. When i refused and asked that they just ship the product they already sold me, and that I already paid for, they told me to "have a nice day." I'm still waiting. No product. No response to my email request for tracking info. No refund. I am leveling a criminal fraud complaint against Everyfloor/RJD. "

"Very poor customer service. Orderered marble, after waiting a very long time, it came in wrong. Tried to correct problem, after numerous months of little help I used the wrong material that was sent with a promise of a "substantial credit". Almost one year later still no credit.
Without a doubt this was the worst store I have ever purchased something from. I have many email
request to back up this story. I will never purchase from RJD Stoes again.

"RJD Stores did a FANTASTIC job of handling my rush order. I contacted customer service immediately after clicking "buy" at www.everyfloor.com and I was very impressed with the excellent professionalism & results that I received from the staff (especially considering that I was instinctively skeptical about them being located on the opposite end of the continent from me). My opinion increased even more when I saw the exceptionally high quality of the Daltile product that I was so terrified wouldn't arrive in time for my installation project in 7 days.

Looking back, I feel so incredibly lucky that I found and decided to use every Floor/ RJD Stores to order the very special and supremely important accent tiles that I needed right away and turned out to be an absolutely beautiful master bathroom. I feel very, very lucky and absolutely happy every day when I look at my gorgeous room. Thank you, RJD Stores!
