"I ordered several products from this company, only to find out that one of the products was out of stock. I would normally be fine with this, but it took them about 2 weeks to tell me. The money had already been taken out of my account, so i asked for a refund. They told me that the refund would be issued shortly, and about 2 weeks later I still hadnt received my refund. After multiple phone calls with no answer and several emails, i received an apology with a promise that my refund would happen be the following Friday. The refund still has not happened so i have filed a complaint with the BBB, and the company refuses to return my calls or email. Use caution when dealing with this company, as they have 500+ complaints with the Better Business Bureau."

"I am very unhappy with my whole experience with Empire Pets. They "processed" my order for a week before shipping it. They also gave me a refund check for a $2 plant because it wasn't available for shipping. Cashing a check for $2 is a joke. I think they should have at least consulted with me before just sending it. I had no options. A good store would have informed me about the plant and asked if I wanted a refund or store credit or even let me choose something else in place. Over all it took much longer than most on-line stores to finally receive my order just today.

I will never buy from them again.

"This place is very shady. My credit card was charged by WORLDOFSWORDS.COM right after I placed the order. A week later still no confirmation or status, I had to write an email to cancel since they don't have cust. svc. Two weeks later still haven't seen the credit.
Stay away people!! Their prices probably lower than everyone else but you're not getting it so what's the difference. I'll file a complain with FTC and BBB later on.

"Like the last reviewer said.... STAY AWAY !

Purchased item. Received e-mail telling me order was in process. After 3 weeks and no product I sent an e-mail asking for status. After e-mail was not answered, I ordered somewhere else. More than a month after the order, I got an e-mail saying the item was on its way to me. When I wrote to tell them I had already ordered elsewhere (because they did nit even answer requests for status) they tried to blame me because I never told them I did not want it anymore. Apparently they can take as long as they want to deliver and even though they ignore e-mails, you as the customer are obligated to keep sending them.

"Stay away. Their customer service is non-existent.
They charged my credit card immediately but when I called them about order status they refused to provide any information and asked to e-mail them. After 2 days they answered the e-mail saying that it usually takes 3-7 days to process an order! Sure enough, after 5 days they sent another e-mail saying that some of the items I ordered are not in stock! I requested that they cancel the order. According to them it takes 3-5 days to refund my money.
