Fantastic Customer Support

"I ordered an item that ended up not being compatible with my vehicle. They sent a return label for the original item and shipped the replacement without additional charge before even receiving the original. They also did homework on the back end to figure out who I was because I ordered with a different email than what I contacted them with for the exchange request. Thank you very much."

Really came through for me

"I purchased this item and was having an issue during the installation. There is this pin that needs to go into the head unit's 28-pin connector that would not go in. When I looked at the pin it was crimped correctly but it seemed like it was a bit off and would not go into the connector all the way. I thought it may be defective. I contacted Alex and he helped me get a spare cable super quickly at no charge to me. defects happen, what's important is what you do about it. highly recommended."

Best Customer Service on the NET

"I purchased a backup camera for my '08 Charger Charger SRT-8 Super Bee. It has every option available except for the backup camera and rear DVD Player. I found Emerald Intergrations on an Ebay ad and thought I'd give it a shot myself. After realizing I purchased the wrong kit for my car, I called and spoke with Sean who not only arranged for me to exchange for the correct kit, he also sent me an additional camera to try, so I could find the view and the fit I wanted! When I found out that their system would also support a front camera, he arranged for me to purchase the correct camera which also turned out to be the same camera I used in the rear and mounted it under the front license plate. I mounted the rear camera in the decklid keyhole and BOTH VIEWS are PERFECT for what I wanted. I need both views for parking and the toggle switch that comes on their harness works flawlessly after I spoke with their Tech/Installer. His name is Santiago. He assisted me on ANY questions I had. He also walked me through an update on the app that is downloadable for their system. I also have an option on the Factory My-Gig Radio that allows my wife to program information into the Navigation system while the car is in motion. I also LOVE that either Camera can be activated while in motion with the flick of that tiggle I mentione earlier. Just like others have said, I received all of my pkgs earlier than promised! I LOVE their system and these guys! I am a disabled/Retired Air Force Veteran and needed something that I could install WITHOUT having to take my car to the dealer. Emerald Intergrations Plug-n-play system is programmed as such so that once it's installed, IT WORKS without that dreaded trip to a Dealer. If you need a backup camera that they sell for your car, BUY IT! You will NOT be disappointed! They have THE BEST Customer Service of ANY COMPANY I've ever ordered from on the Internet Today!"

Outstanding customer service

"I was shopping around for a CarPlay system when I came across Emerald Integrations. Now, I don’t know much about cars so I had some silly questions one could say and not once did they make me feel dumb! They are so knowledge in the field and throughly answered all my concerns. I ended up purchasing a Car Play system 2015 Audi Q5 and thus far really happy with it. They referred me to Best Buy who were already familiar with the system and installed in one shot! "

BMW 5-Series CarPlay

"Purchased a carplay system with handle camera for my 5-Series. Best Buy installed it for $130 and it's been amazing thus far. I called today to ask about how to connect a new phone and save the settings. Sean guided me the whole way through and also told me about screen mirroring and usb data which I didn't even know I had. Basically, I can load up movies or songs on a USB stick and connect that to the carplay USB to stream everything on my screen. Very cool features!"

2015 BMW X3 Carplay + Backup Camera

"After reading these review I was hesitant in even contacting this company but I've been looking for a carplay solution where I didn't have to buy a new android tablet screen and lose steering wheel function or anything like that. I want to keep this car as close to OEM as possible so I decided to give these guys a call.

Shawn helped me most of the way with Alex on livechat answering some tech questions when I ran into an issue. Basically, I had to have my Multimedia on AUX for sound to go through which I didn't realize.

AMAZING carplay system. They don't even advertise it but apparently they now include wireless carplay for android and iPhone. The UI is super fast so I can scroll and go to options easily. They have an auto connect feature so I never even take my phone out of my pocket which is nice. I went to a local shop and they did the install in about 4 hours and charged $350 which is fair. I had a rear tailgate camera mounted which auto triggers in reverse and has the moving parking lines. Honestly, no complaints at all and I had to write this for anyone else that read the previous ones and was hesitant. Give them a call and you'll feel much more confident.

Huge waste of time, choose another product...

"Ok, where shall I begin. This whole ordeal just frustrates me. When I read about the product I was stoked. I spent $750 for a front and rear camera and multimedia box. Initially they sent me the wrong multimedia box. So I tried contacting them and their phones were down. The website contact form kept failing. So I couldn't contact anyone. I left a bad review and next thing you know, they responded! So I get the correct multimedia box. I think I'm good right? Nope. The rear camera, which has a replacement handle to make it look seamless, will not fit my vehicle. So again I try to reach customer support. No reply. So I will make another bad review because they will probably respond to me. I'm done with these guys, save yourself the headache and go with someone else. "

What a waste of money

"I ordered a backup camera as a birthday gift It got lost in the mail and I called them the let him know what happened he told me to call the Post Office and file a complaint and they would refund me or ship out a new camera so I called the Post Office got a complaint number and called them back they told me there was $100 insurance on this package to get my money back from the Post Office that they will write me a check all they did is run me in circles and I had to have the Post Office called them to explain to them that they need to refund me or send me at a new camera come to find out the package had no insurance on it and I had to threaten them to report them to the better business barrel which I did And he told me he would just pay the $50 have it taken down in the long run I got a camera my sister doesn't want and wanted my money back because it cost way too much to install and it's the wrong one even though I put what car I had in But Best Buy said it was the wrong camera they sent out they will not return my phone calls or refund me if I send back the camera so I am out my money if I can give this place 0 Or negative stars I would stars I would not recommend buying from this place unless you like getting ripped off I wish I wanna listen to the other reviews on here before I purchased"

Excellent customer service!

"I purchased a backup camera for my Mercedes from Emerald Integrations and took it to a local auto electronics shop for installation. There was a problem, and Emerald Integrations worked with the electronics shop to make it right. They reserved technician time for the shop, and they knew exactly what had happened. I am extremely happy with the camera, and would buy from Emerald Integrations again!"

Great service & product

"I ordered an interface for my BMW X3 2012 car.
Finally wanted to have a back-up camera installed, but since I am not much of a tech geek I always hesitated doing it on my own.
After checking out Emerald Integrations online, I decided to buy one.
It arrived shortly after I placed my order. When I got it and started to struggle I called the customer service. They answered right away and gave me great advice and support!
I took my car to an installer close by and had him install my interface. When the installer ran into some issues setting it up, he called tech support and the guys from Emerald Integrations walked him through it. Super quick and for a good price.
Really can't complain about anything: customer service and tech support were amazing! They definitly know what they are doing.

AMAZING BACKUP CAMERA!

"I purchased a backup camera kit from these guys simply because they were in the top 3 for google search "2015 A4 Backup Camera Kit". I chatted with an Alex via their website who helped me figure out what MMI meant and to order the correct unit. Chose free shipping and got my kit 5 days later which was cool.

They advised me to take it to a local Best Buy and have their Geek Squad install it. I was hesitant to say the least but went for it and those dudes knew what they were doing for sure. They knocked out the whole installation in 2 1/2 hours and only charges me $120 (my dealership wanted to set up an appoint a week later and said it would take at least a day and $350)

Now I finally got a backup camera which works great with steering lines and parking guidelines.

Perfect if you want to get ripped off!

"I purchased a back up camera for $574 from this "company". The installer warned me that putting it in my Audi could void my vehicle warranty because it is not a true OEM product. I returned the camera immediately. Emerald received it on September 19, 2016, and I still have not received my refund. It has gotten to the point where I have involved my credit card company to dispute the charges. If you deal with them, you should just count on getting ripped off."

Bait and Switch. Poor Customer Service, No support. Emerald has it all.

"I purchased the camera and Interface module for an Audi A5. I went with Emerald because they offered an OEM looking camera handle. Well, they sent a little aftermarket camera cube instead of a camera handle. I contacted customer service, and after much delay, they said they sent the wrong camera. Okay, all good at this point. Mistakes are made sometimes

They sent a camera handle and I go to the local installer. They look and say, 'no, this does not fit your Audi. Too big." So I call Emerald back and say it's too big. Then I get basically accused of requesting the wrong camera. Fine, I say I'll go with the cube. Even though at the time I purchased, there was no picture of this cheap aftermarket camera on the sales page for the Audi ( Now I look today and there are both the OEM handle and the cube camera pictured).

The owner manager says he "trusts me since I admitted my error", and he'll send the cube on. I set a new appointment two weeks in advance for installation. No camera has arrived after 10 days. I call, email still trying to be polite and get no response after multiple attempts of trying. By the way, the only people that ever answer the phone is an answering service. So yes you can leave a message, but bank it, it won't get returned if you have a problem.

So ultimately after no responses and approaching deadline and I have an installation appointment that's hard to get, I google search for a while and get lucky finding the exact cube camera on Amazon for $29.00 and it can be over-nighted.

So now I am out the $147 for the camera handle which does not fit and $29 for the cube camera. The install went okay but the remote Emerald shipped did not work. So any adjustments are impossible via the remote. I am having to take it back one more time to turn off the lines because they don't line up with parking lines in the rear and also due to the fact that there is a picture in a picture overlay of the radio display that takes up a quarter of the screen.

I'd be happy if Emerald could have just helped me turn those off with any support, but they never called back on that.

So all in all, the absolute worst internet purchase and support have ever received with a moderately expensive purchase. I hope you don't have to go through the same thing.
