Keep an eye on your bank account after placing an order

"I placed an order for my elderly mother on 05/01/17. Received an email confirmation and went about my way. The following afternoon, my bank notified me of akother charge from Easy Comforts. I was shocked. Looked into my account and yes! Indeed, money had been withdrawn twice. The second time, there was not an email explaining as to why. I called customer service and they explained that they hadn't withdrawn money the first time, it was merely a hold on funds. And the second withdraw would be credited to my account in a few days. Or as they refer to it as "drop." Well, the first of the two items was delivered and the compression socks zipped broke immediately. I called again and customer service was very prompt at asking if I wanted a refund or replacement. I chose replacement, because still- my money hasn't been returned from the second withdraw. I received an email stating that I would either receive a replacement item or refund. The other item I had ordered on my original order, was on back order. Which, I was aware of. I did mention my ordeal and concerns to this customer rep as well. And again- I was fed the same line. That's how all company work. BS! I have never had a company charge my account and the following day place another charge. I've waited over a week and the money still has not been refunded. So I decided to call and this time the gentlemen on the phone couldn't help me so he transferred me to a lady, who was very rude and seemed upset. She did share an insincere apology.!and the same line and lies were used again. This time, blaming my bank. Saying my bank is the one to speak to. And that my bank is withholding my refund. There isn't any refunds or transactions pending. Baffled by her attitude, I decided to request the back order item to be canceled. She agreed and said have a great day. To which I stopped her. I asked her to explain what happens next. She said " you're orders been cancelled." And I said great, but will you send an email confirmation, surely something happens next. And she angry replied jay yes and email would be send and I did ask her to lose her attitude. I don't understand how a company can be upset for being called out about taking extra funds without permission or even an order placed. Now I feel as if they have my card information and can once again charge me at whatever moment. It's been 10 days of waiting for a refund... please- don't let this happen to you. I am living my days in fear of receiving a notification from my bank of new charges from EasyComforts. Please. Please. Be mindful of your accounts. This is one shady company. "
