"I have been trying to get my purchase for a while now. From the beginning I wanted the package held at a fedex location since I wouldn’t be home to sign for it (since I’m not rich enough to not work during the week), and I have had excellent experience with fedex ground in the past managing my deliveries to be held for pickup on the way home from work, but Excaliber insisted that I needed a failed delivery at my house before they could ask a manager to allow it to be changed to a hold for pickup (all the while forbidding fedex from allowing me to direct the delivery). After the first fail (actually before the first fail, but the message I sent through their web contact form bounced back as undeliverable), I notified Excaliber to change to hold for pickup and the status was changed a few hours later, but the shipment was still going to try coming to my house again the next day. For the third day I received notification that the package would be held at a fedex location and I could pick it up by the end of the day (Friday), except as the day turned into evening, the notification changed to be end of day Monday (since fedex ground doesn’t move on weekends). Calling FedEx, they said they couldn’t see that the package had been relabeled for hold, which is likely why it wasn’t held. Later I decided to call the location that was slated to hold my delivery on the off chance they had it. Amazingly that location did have my package(!), despite the details on the fedex website and the information available to the 1-800 fedex agents. While I am glad that I am finally in possession of my purchase, this entire tragic saga could have been avoided if Excaliber had just shipped it to be held from the start, as requested during my first telephone conversation when they were confirming the order. I really regret buying through Excaliber, opposed to a large national chain due to the extensive hassle and runaround trying to actually receive my purchase. I will forever find their stated requirement of a failed home delivery before allowing a hold for pickup baffling. On the plus side, it was always easy to get in contact with Excaliber on the phone (although I still wonder about the failed delivery of my message on the web contact form) and the people I talked with on the phone were always very nice, but lacked the authority to directly prevent all of these shipping issues. "

It was my first time buying through ExcaliberPC website instead of through their store in Ebay. I the experience buying through them directly is great. Sales contacted me to confirm my order as I got it delivered to my place of work in Hong Kong.
Delivery charge was even cheaper than what I normally get quoted in Ebay. Main reason I bought directly is that EXcaliberPC website allows more customisation options than what is shown in Ebay.
Overall great buying experience (also the laptop works perfectly well no issues). I'll buy here again when I need to upgrade my laptop which won't be for a while."
"I live in NYC and I knew laptop was going to come from California. Firstly they confirmed my order for security reasons which is really good to be on a safer side. After that they told laptop would take around 7 days to get delivered but they delivered it in 4 days. The service was upto the mark. And apart from that the laptop was received safely and package was not at all damaged from any side "
