Badly packed product arrived damage, refuses to refund

"Ordered six cases of dog food. They were poorly packaged and too many in one box so the cans arrived badly dented, many near the seal. After jerking me around, they refused to refund my money. They claim cans with dents at the seal are fine to feed my dog. I'm not giving my dogs botulism. I've had dented can problems on occasion with other vendors like amazon, they always refund me especially when it was their poor packaging that caused the issue. I have photos of the packaging and damaged product, which I provided to the vendor."

Charging for merchandise not ordered

"On two separate occasions, they have “reactivated” auto deliveries that I had previously canceled. They refuse to fix the issue other than offering to make an “exception” and allow me to return the item at my expense. According to their policy (check their FAQs) they are supposed to provide a 2 week notification to inform you if an auto delivery is active. Their response when I told them they’re not following their policy? “Sorry we didn’t send you a notification”

Company does not honor promotions

"Very disappointed to learn Fosters & Smith will not be honoring shipment of orders placed with the Health40 discount. No mention of while supplies last or limited order quantities. Unfortunate that a company I knew to be very reputable will not stand behind their advertised promotions and honor orders with a rain check and promise to fill orders complete when inventory is replenished!"

Terrible company - will not accept ANY returns.

"Re-ordered something and what arrived was a different size. When I contacted them, they said "we don't take returns". Terrible company, just avoid them."

Waste of time

"Ordered from them for the first time because they were promoting a sale on food items. A few days later they cancel my entire order and tell me all the items are out of stock and they don't know when they'll be back in stock, so they can't fulfill. Seems to me like they miscalculated sale prices and didn't want to fulfill my order. Regardless, no compensation or even simple apology was offered. Needless to say, this was my first and last time ordering anything from this merchant. I'll stick to more reputable sellers from now on."

Website lies

"I ordered a prescription with auto delivery and they stated that I would receive a $20 gift certificate. I never received, so I called them. They told me if I already had something on auto ship that it wouldn't apply to that item. It's a one time thing. They LIE!!! No where does it say that unless you click on a bunch of links & it's stated in really small print. I have cancelled my orders with them...lets see if they actually did it. "

No Stars!!!

"Lied. I emailed them prior to ordering. Would different billing and shipping addresses be a problem. No they said. Lied. Only ship to billing address and that is the only address that shows in their system as ship to. My order history reflects my correct shipping address but they do not use it and cannot view it. They cannot correct it. They blamed me for ordering online and having differing addresses. They are hateful. Set fire to your money. This company is garbage. Should have read reviews first."

"I have never deal with a company with such bad customer service. updated my auto delivery schedule but their computer is not updated and they still went ahead ship out the product and charge me $7.00 shipping for a $10 dollar product. "

Horribly disorganized

"I've had so many problems with them. I moved and changed shipping addresses. I changed shipping addresses several times actually, and shipments continued to go to a location I no longer had access to. So I cancelled my auto ships. I continued to place orders, though. The last order I placed was supposed to earn me a $30 gift certificate. It wasn't provided and when I inquired about it, the information was emailed to me. I immediately attempted to use it to place an order but it didn't work. When I contacted customer service (again), I was told that it had expired. All with three days! To top it off, I just now received another email saying that my Paypal account had been disabled and they couldn't me my autoshipment. The autoshipment that I cancelled TWICE.

Really, really disorganized.

Lack of integrity

"I made a purchase and called back to change it 15 minutes later i was told no problem the next day i checked and saw no change so I called back and was told sorry it had already been shipped
Which proved to be a lie as the USPS tracking link showed that it was not picked up for 5 hours! Integrity is everything in an online company. This one failed me.

Misleading

"I placed an order on the late evening of July 3rd. I then changed my mind on the order and looked for a cancel order button. None to be found. I then used the support email as directed and sent a polite email stating that it was my fault for changing my mind but could they please cancel my order. I received an email on July 4th (around noon) stating that they could not cancel the order because it was already shipped. I contacted chat support and asked for clarification because UPS doesn't ship on the 4th of July (holiday). They said "oh well UPS leaves trucks at our place and we fill them and your order is already on the truck". I could see I was getting nowhere. I just received an email stating that my order was just packaged and being shipped USPS. Now I am certain that USPS does NOT leave a vehicle parked at their warehouse. I sent a cancel email within 15 minutes of placing the order and they simply do not want to cancel it because they either think I will just keep it or they just can't be bothered to stop the order. I will be returning the items even if I am forced to pay the $8 return shipping and will never order from them again. Again it was my fault for changing my mind but I have NEVER had this kind of service from the big retailer that starts with an "A". I will find everywhere possible to repeat this review."

Delayed shipment plus weak customer service

"*Update: Order arrived a day after my first review. If Drs. Foster & Smith were to improve their customer service so that more information was available in the event of delays or shipping issues, I would happily give 5 star. I know the rep was trying to be helpful, but I was getting worried.

Convenient service, far better value as well! My vet charges about 4x as much for the tablets and I was losing the will to live as the meds used to be cheaper, even so they were still double the price of Drs F&S!

I advise you to keep stocked up on medicine in the event of delays.

Initial review:
Ordered more than a week ago. Asthma medicine for my cat who just leapt up to 5mgs a day from 2.5mg. Now shipment says delayed - unknown delivery date. They use USPS so expect nothing less.

Customer service representative just tells me to call the pharmacy. Why am I chasing something that I've paid and waited for? You can see it's delayed. My poor lil guy can't be without his meds or he has serious, harmful asthma attacks. Now I'm stuck without medicine! I'm disgusted.

I think I'll avoid. Reps have no power it's just useless info.
