"Sigh. When they happen to have the wine you order in stock, or if the wine you ordered happens to be sitting next to the merchant and they happen to be going to the UPS store, or if the moon is full, your wine order might go out in a timely fashion. I have ordered from these guys a number of times and they are wildly inconsistent. I have received orders within 4-5 days. I have also had two orders which i placed in January of 2009 (!) which I am *still* waiting for shipment. I have lost count of the number of emails I have sent them regarding the order, and I probably get a reply one out of every 5 times I send an inquiry, always promising to get it right out, and nothing ever shows up. Actually, after 18 months I received an apology and a list of other wines I could pick from, as my orignal order was now unavailable. So I dutifully picked 4 new wines, and...nothing. Again. If you call the store phone #, they are of zero help as apparently their website and brick-and-mortar store are unconnected. It is beyond frustrating. So by all means, order from them if you are of a gambling nature."

"Drink the Grapes is perhaps the worst wine seller that I have ever had the misfortune with which to deal. First, they sent me an incorrect wine case, off by both label and by vintage. When I called and emailed to resolve the problem, they were extraordinarily unresponsive. Upon finally getting in contact, the promised to send the correct wine and vintage. Alas, weeks passed without resolution. Further emails to them to inquire as to the delay went unanswered for months. Upon threatening legal action, I managed a return email promising to pay for return shipping and to credit my account for the wrong order. Alas, another month has passed (it's late October now) and I've yet to see a Fed Ex truck as promised for a return. Candidly, Drink the Grapes is the most incompetent vendor on the planet and I would urge any and all future wine buyers to look elsewhere lest you suffer a similar experience."
