I purchased a Dog Spot Solution product for my lawn on May 13, 2018 from Organic Products Marketplace (OPM) through their website dogspotsolution.com . Their website and advertising boldy states a 100% Money Back Guarantee. Their product wouldn't work for my lawn because I would also have to change the type of fertilizer used on my lawn ( which I couldn't do because that is handled by a contracted company) I immediately contacted OPM to explain this and request a return authorization through multiple email and phone calls that were never answered. I escalated the matter through Paypal and only then did they respond. I returned the product and instead of 100% money back guarantee, they tried to proffer a 62% taking $30.00 off for their shipping and restocking. I denied their offer through Paypal because I wanted them to to back up their 100% Money Back Guarantee. I didn't want to concede $30 to be treated this poorly by any vendor. I still want my $79.99 back. They should pay the price for their false advertising and misleading product info and terrible customer service- not me.

Seeing all the good reviews on Dog Spot Solution's website, I thought I'd give it a try. Placed a double order on 8/29/17 (order number OPM30846) and when it arrived, I treated our lawn according to their instructions (basically, tear out dead grass, put down their recovery mixture and seed, apply spray to prevent future spots). After two weeks, the seed had taken (as grass seed always does), but new dead spots were still forming with no slowing. I tried calling their support line several times to get tips but never got an answer.
So, I repeated the treatment. Two weeks later, not only were spots still forming, but even the new areas that had grown from their own provided grass seed were still dying. Nothing had changed on my lawn. I had essentially paid for low quality grass seed for ten times the price.
I tried calling and emailing to get my money back. No response. Left a message, kindly stating that we were bummed it didn't work- it seems to work so well for many others! But since it hadn't, we'd like a refund. No response.
After a week of calling (9 different times at varying times of day, leaving messages 3 times) and emailing (5 different times), they finally responded once (after I threatened to leave this complain) just to say "it appears the product regrew your grass as promised" and that they wouldn't refund me, in spite of their website promising far more than just that the mixture will grow grass. To quote their site-"The affected area must be treated so that your soil is empowered to handle your dogs concentrated urine. We do this Organically through our results driven and proven solution, which combines a Dry product developed to Neutralize the existing damage with a concentrated Liquid that stimulates Recovery and Prevents further damage." Definitely a greater promise than just that their grass seed will grow... I can do that with grass seed from down the street for $10.
I emailed back and explained why the grass seed taking doesn't match their site's claims of dog spot prevention or fulfill their guarantee. No response. Called. No answer. Emailed again and asked them to call me so we could sort this out. No response. Called one last time yesterday and left a message asking them to call me back so we can sort this out some other way than me just leaving a bad review. No response. I've given up.
In conclusion, this is not a dog spot solution. It's grass seed that costs ten times as much. And their money-back guarantee seems impossible to take advantage of since they'll never answer your later calls or emails about it, though they'll certainly be prompt on the first one that placed your order.
