Read Return Policy CAREFULLY!

"Divers-Supply.com's return policy should be very CAREFULLY read!

If an item order (with 'free shipping') is returned within 60 days, at purchaser's expense, Diver's-Supply will DEDUCT the cost of shipping to the purchaser in their refund!

Very tricky policy, since they charge you both ways. Shipping to you and your cost to return!

Do not trust their website and expect to be insulted if you dare complain!

"Placed an order for a SWIFT Transmitter, item clearly showed "in stock" I know this because they were the only dive shop that had this item listed in stock, I spent a couple hours trying to find one. The next day I got an email saying, "Your order #1000xxxxxx has been updated with a status of Out of Stock." They immediately billed my credit card. When I called to find out what was going on I was told that the item has been out of stock for months and it was marked as such on their website. If that was true, why was the order status changed to out of stock the next day? When pressed the individual I spoke to (Chris) stated that they hear this from customers "all the time" - later clarified to once a month. I am wide open to this having been a system error which is no big deal as long as the order is cancelled, and the charge refunded - which it was. My issue is being called a liar, something they doubled down on even after being presented with evidence that the error was on their end. "

Zero complaints

"Whenever I run into a new online vendor or supplier, I will generally check here first to look for red flags.

Divers Supply had more than a few, though not consistently.

I figured if I had any issues, I could just cancel the credit card charge.

So I ordered two Sherwood regulators. The product was in short supply elsewhere and I was worried about availability. The charge went though right away (naturally), but I got an e-mail telling me they would contact me when the product was ready to ship. Hmmmm.

I sent an e-mail the next day to customer service asking for a shipment date with the plan to cancel if they didn't give me one. I never received a response, but I did receive a tracking number later in the day. Both regulators arrived four days later, exactly as ordered.

So, I have no basis for anything other than a fully positive review.

Zero complaints from me.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!

"The problem with Diver Supply is that twice in the last month I have purchased items from them and not received them. They are in absolutely no hurry to correct their mistakes in not including items in your shipments. They don't even apologize for taking your money and not giving you your merchandise. Do not use these people at all. You are better off paying more and actually getting your product."

Do NOT buy here!

"I was trying to buy my first dive equipment at divers supply. I had some questions to the products and shipping as these information is missing on the website. I wrote multiple emails and never received an answer in under 5 days. I had to call them everytime and the employees were unmotivated to answer my questions. I then placed the order and my Order didn't went through because of "fraud detection". I invested multiple hours in getting up just one order. I still wait on answers to my questions in my emails. Let's see if they will get answered or not. I don't think so. Also the Shop is very slow and unperformant. I received a tons of times a "503 Service Unavailable"-Message. What a mess."

Received incomplete order

"On June 24, I ordered two full face masks with their communications units and one surface communication unit, and I paid for the fastest shipping method they offer. On June 25, I received e-mail said, “We would like to inform you that there has been a delay in your order. An item(s) is temporarily out of stock but should be back in stock within 7 days.” On June 30, shipping label had created. On July 22. package has arrived with missing communications units for both masks. I communicate with them and I was informed that package has shipped completely and would contact full face mask company or file shipping carrier investigation. The Next day, they did not update me, so I contacted them and was told the missing items were located and would ship that day."

Excellent products and excellent service

"I have been buying from this company for more than a decade, and am never disappointed. Our all-inclusive Jamaican resort, Bluefields Bay Villas, uses only masks and snorkels and fins purchased from this company. Those have always been high quality. The one or two times that we were disappointed and let them know, they replaced the items immediately and their service was outstanding. I give this company five stars for consistently providing excellent products as well as reliable and honorable service. "

Helped me every step of the way

"I chatted with Chris. Looking for dive lights to replace the ones I lost on last dive. Chris found some that weren't even listed on the sight because they are new to inventory. Made recommendations based on his own experience. found the lights I want for the price I want and less than I expected to pay. "

Worse vendor

"Worse experience... I ordered a specific dive flashlight from this Company. It shipped a flashlight that is not corresponded to the one indicated on the Web site and it was not working. I returned and received a partial refund stating initial shipping charges are deducted from my refund. When I called to discuss with them, they told me the flashlight was working but I don't know how to insert the batter??? I consider myself intelligent enough to handle putting battery into flashlight!!! other than waste of time to shipping the not function good back to this store and the insulting discussion with them, I am out of money of ~$20. Avoid them"

Great place to order online

"Ordered a complete SCUBA package with scuba tank from Divers supply. Every thing arrived earlier than I expected it. It was completely assembled and ready to go diving with. I have used it several times and great products and Divers Supply saved me over $200 after I priced it with all the online guys. I will always shop here for all my Scuba gear!"

"I am surprised to read some reviews which are negative. My experience was nothing short of amazing. I ordered couple BCD's and Heather went above and beyond to help me get everything setup online and with the order. They arrived within couple days. Can't get better than this."

Lost shipment

"I ordered a set of boots and paid the extra for shipping with UPS as the website suggested. the item never came and the response time from Divers Supply was really long. I still haven't received a refund. I did get a call from someone over 4000 kms away who received my item in the post! with there address and my name and phone number! Needless to say they are keeping the item and i am out of pocket. do yourself a favour and find another supplier."

Where's My Tanks ? (Finally Received- increased rating by 2 stars)

"I ordered a pair of tanks on 11/18/2016. The website did not list the items as "out of stock"- they are top end tanks. They promptly charged my credit card the full amount. December 8th, in an email, I asked for an update on their ETA. - No reply. I called and spoke to them on the phone twice concerning my order, and requested that they email me an ETA- no email ever sent. On December 19th- my email "May I get a courtesy update on this order? I am beginning to really question your customer service, as I feel I've been given a very-cold shoulder." (Today is December 21 -No Reply to any email) Additionally, I left them a note in the Chat area to simply call me on my cell- for a courtesy update-no response) This company has lost sight of it's own customers and does not seem to care enough to respond. My order is in the neighborhood of $700. Think long and hard before ordering from this crew- support your local dive shop.

---------update ---- January 8, 2017-------

Sad to say- still didn't receive my order. Interestingly the seller responded to my email shortly after I posted my first poor review on 12/21/2016. Their limp response was that the were busy during the holidays- remember I placed this order on November 18, 2016. Now the say the tanks were shipped by UPS on 12/28/2016. I live less than 200 miles from one of their 5 stores. ****? When I try to track the shipping @ UPS, it indicates the shipping information was deleted by Divers-Supply. I'm on the verge of canceling my order, and just purchase LOCALLY.

---------------- January 14th, 2017 Update---------------------------------
After making the previous post, and then sharing it on FaceBook, somebody named Frank called me on my cell phone. He apologized profusely and said "they" had dropped the ball, but did not go into details. Frank was committed to solving the problem and took care of business the way it should have been done back in November. My Tanks arrived last night via-UPS. I asked for a couple of small items for my inconvenience and Frank was agreeable. Will I do business with them in the future? (Not likely -their business could really benefit by doing some simple things like listening to customers via phone, following up on every phone call, and especially monitoring and responding to emails. Diver's Supply uses a big-city approach to customer service -meaning- they treat you the same as you would get treated by a very large business like Xfinity or Centurylink. Macon, Georgia is not big-city. (Thanks goes out to Frank for quickly resolving the situation) :-)

"I live in Florida about 300 miles from Divers Supply. Checked on the status of my order with Divers Supply on the 9th day after the order had been placed, and the order had not shipped! Then looked at my invoice and saw that Divers Supply had not logged my order until a day after it was placed, charged me $6.68 for "shipping and handling" 8 feet of 9/16 surgical tubing, plus 6% Georgia sales tax. Cancelled the order. Bye, bye, Divers Supply."
