"DO NOT buy anything from this store: Disco Bath - 626 Midland Ave, Staten Island, NY 10306 I decided to buy floor tiles to replace hardwood floor which got damaged during the Hurricane Sandy. I used this store in the past, which I believe “Disco Bath” was under different management that time, not sure though. Remembering about excellent service that time, so I decided to go to this store again. When I was in store having all dimensions of my room measured I asked salesperson about amount of the tiles needed for this room. He helped me to calculate saying that I need extra and I don't have to worry about return because they accept any unopened box left without limitations. So I bought the tiles. He over calculated by appx 50% and sold me way too much. When contractor finished his work at my house a lot boxes left unopened.. I decided to return them to this store and I was told that the salesperson who sold me the tile doesn't work there anymore, they need to contact to him and ask what he said to me at the moment he sold the tiles!!??? I was told that they call me... After one week I stopped by and asked the same question, they told me that they have to talk to owner and suggested to wait a while. When I came there next time I was told that 30 days from the day I bought the tiles passed and they could not do anything. After that I spoke to 3 representatives of this company asking to talk to owner. Everybody said the same - “ Your salesperson didn't tell the truth about Our return policy, it's too late to return", and owner didn't even want to talk to me. After talking to my neighbor, I found out that he got trapped with same store as I am, where he end up having a lot of unopened boxes of tiles left without possibility to return them. By the way I did not have any problem to return extra tiles to VERAZZANO TILE & Granite store on Hylan blvd (1134 Hylan Boulevard), they did not even charge any restocking fee. Nice people."
