"Wrong camara was received. Ordered Nikon 3200--received Kodak CoolPix. Returned Camara UPS on 12/29 to address given by company rep. UPS delivered on 1/3/2005. Have left several messages with no response. Just want my account credited. Filed a complaint with my bank and am in the process of filing a complaint with the NY State Attirbet General's Office. Have all back up paperwork to support my claim. Anythhing that can be done to get this matter resolved will be greatly appreciated."

"digitaly discoverd is a very unprofessional. The company does not have working number, which they claim is working ***-***-**** or ***-***-****) it should be live person between 11 and 5pm no there is NONE I have tried each day for last few month...no response. Over the internet have purchased purchased nikon coolpix 5400 camera, camera was received (Thank you God for that) until today have not received warranty, even though I was charged $109 and we already have February 2005
I am very dissapointed with Digitally Discoverde for lack of profesionalizm and customer support

"I Ordered a PV-DV53 camcorder from Digitally Discovered on-line Dec. 10 Next Day Air. It took over a week for me to get the camera and they didn't even send it untill they cantacted me about an extended warranty for wich I ended up getting. Sounded like a good deal. The Camera came in a generic camcorder box, photo copied instructions and no serial #. Whats more it didn't work. I was able to get a RMA #, I sent it back at my expense and they sent me another camera that will not work. Now they do not reture calls, e-mail, or am I able to get a RMA#. It appears I'm out close to $400 with the shipping. Check ratings! Do not do business with thse people! I don't even have any info on my extended warranty to to get it fixed."

"On December 10th 2004, I ordered a Konica Minolta Dimage Z3 with some accessories at Digitally Discovered (digitallydiscovered.com). I still have not received my order. After many phone calls to the company, they told me that it was out of stock and that I had to wait another 18 days. That is what they told me after 30 days! Therefore I cancelled my order but it appears that the money is taken from my credit card. $625!!! I have serious doubt if I get my money back. When calling the phone number from the site, I get an answering machine! If anyone has the same experience with this company and has an idea to fix the problem, please let me know (****@****)."

"Like previous raters, I had the experience of having to "verify" by phone info about my order and be pressured to purchase add ons. When I declined the addons, I received an email stating that my order was not in stock and would require 10-12 more days to receive. At shipping time, my credit card info would have to be reverified. I never recieived another bit of info. After 3 weeks I inquired by email and received no response. On the 3rd request for a response, I questioned their business ethics which prompted a very quick response to all three emails: your order has been cancelled. I believe their philosophy is- if you don't purchase add ons which will help them cover their low pricing they immediately cancel your order without the courtesy of letting you know. These guys are business scum..."

"I purchased the coolpix 4200 with U.S. and a 5 year extended warranty. The box did not have the U.S. warranty card nor information about the extended warranty. I called several times and after 3 weeks have yet to receive anything from Digitally Discoverd.com. I have never had such a poor experience from a vendor. I called Nikon and they said that if this product was advertised (as it was) with U.S. warranty then the card should have been in the box. Anything less would make the authenticity of the product suspect.
I have been able to track down the extended warranty company and they have been very helpful in trying to put be in touch with someone at Ditally Discovered that will be honest and forthright about the warranty sold to me and why I have not received the documentation. I would not recommend this company to a single person. Do yourself a favor and purchase your electronics from any number of higher rated vendors.

"I ordered a Canon EOS300D, digital Rebel camera, from this company after researching and comparing prices. I was called by a sales representative to validate my order, which was an attempt to sell me other merchandise that I did not want. I thanked Frank, the sales person, and told them I was going to pass. I was informed I would get an e-mail with the tracking number and the camera would arrive before Christmas. Nothing came by Christmas eve and on the following Monday I received a package with two lenses that I did not order but no camera or other items I ordered. At that point I tried to contact customer service, an oxymoron in this case, and finally got through to someone that gave me a return authorization. I sent the package back and made certain they had to sign for it so I had a record of the return. I have yet to receive a credit for the amount they charged, more than I agreed to. At this point I have disputed the charges with my credit card company. Do not buy from this firm. You might get lucky and obtain your merchandise but if you don't you will spend countless hours trying to make things right."

"I ordered a new Canon Powershot A95 and a long list of accessories (hard-sold to me by a telephone rep) on December 23. I received a package a few days later with a refurbished Olympus 700C. When I tried to call all of the customer service numbers listed on the invoice and online, no one picked up the phone. I sent 3 emails to the customer service rep who had sold me the merchandise and still have not received a response or an RMA number to return the bad order. I am in the process of having my credit card company dispute this purchase."

"Place an oder on December 21st. Got a call on December 22 where they pretend calling to verify shipping and credit card info. When I called them they try selling me an extended warranty and a battery kit, which I declined. After declining the offer a few times the rep. finally told me that he was processing my order and that it would be ship the next day. Since no transactions had shown up on my credit card I called on the 31st. When I finally got somebody, I got put on hold and hang up on. I called back and they told me that my order had been cancelled because the camera had been back order for 2 weeks. So when I called on the 22nd the camera was already back order, but he never said anything about it. Then they said that they send me 3 emails, which I never received. I also check their website before calling on the 31st and the camera is available. So if you don't order any of their extra stuff they cancel your order. At one point when I was talking to the rep. on the 31st I could hear somebody making a background noice on the line, and the rep. was pretending that he couldn't hear me. Stay away from this store!!!"

"My fiancé ordered the Canon ZR90 Mini DV as a Christmas gift for me. She selected 3 day select for shipping. It was purchased on 12/16/04 and we did not receive the package until 12/26/04 she told them that it was a Christmas gift and needed it before Christmas. The sales rep said it would be here before Christmas. They didn’t place the order right away and had her call to complete the order where they talked her into buying a second battery. This was on Friday the 17th they did not ship the product until Tuesday the 21st and the product was stuck in the storms in the mid west. But showed it would be here on the 24th it we were gone out of town at that time and did not get the package until the 26th after Christmas. When we opened the package wasn’t what she had ordered it was a “AA” battery charger and a battery not the camcorder and the battery. We contacted Digitally Discovered and received nothing but rudeness on the phone and they were very unwilling to help us with our questions. When asked when our order will be shipped to us they said when they receive the one back from us. We told them that we wanted it shipped to us now. The rep said that he’d put a rush on it. So we’ll see what happens with it now. WE WILL NEVER ORDER ANOTHER THING FROM THIS COMPANY AND I WARN OTHERS OF THIS COMPANY IT SEEMS LIKE A BIG SCAM TO ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"I placed an order with this company BEFORE I saw all of the negative reviews. I decided to wait and see if they followed through. I ordered a camera on the 19th and paid extra for delivery before Christmas. They shipped it to late to arrive on time. When I did get the box, it contained some junk that did not even relate to the camera. RUN AWAY from this scam company!"

"DO NOT BUY FROM THIS MERCHANT! received broken merchandise in a timely fashion then, when returned, could not get a tracking number, was lied to about delivery times, and inappropriately spoken to by customer service. Run-a-round for hours on hold. Definitely worth extra few bucks to buy from a reputable establishment - this is NOT one of them!"

"I have had an altogether satisfatory experience with this purchase. The agent with whom I spoke was very helpful and advised me about which filters to purchase for this camera ( Panasonic Lumix FZ20 ), and I received the item in excellent condition on 14 Dec., 04. I had called back to the agent after I received several ominous e-mails about this company's rating with your site, but I want to put in my experience to balance some of the negative comments that I have read.
