"Purchased a computer from them. Ordered a 450W power supply with case, received a 400W power suppy. Was told by Vladimir that it was a 450 as if I could not open the pc and see for myself. First power supply went, could not reach them, went out and bought one on my own. Now mother board went. Have received "no response" from them. None of the numbers I have will be answered. PC is in right now at a different store getting a new mother board in it. I felt it was safe to purchase from them for I live approx. 45 minutes away. Guess distance has nothing to do with it. Do not know what to do except warn others. Regardless of any name they go by, I have not found them to stand behind their products or service what they build."

"WHAT A RIPOFF THESE GUYS (DIGIREX) ARE, MY COMPUTER LASTED 8 DAYS THE FIRST TIME IT CRASHED, I RETURNED IT AT THEIR REQUEST AND THEY REPLACED THE MEMORY AND SENT IT BACK , BUT IT KEPT CRASHUNG AND I WOULD HAVE TO RESET THE MOTHERBOARD SETTINGS, THEN LAST MONTH THE HEATSINK SOCKET BROKE OFF THE MOTHERBOARD CAUSING THE FAN TO FALL OFF WHICH THEN CAUSED A COMPLETE MELTDOWN,
MOTHERBOARD,MEMORY,CPU,AND POWERPAK. NOW THE FUN PART OF GETTING AHOLD OF THEM, AS I SEE FROM ALL THE POSTINGS, IT WILL BE NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE, I HAVE FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE OHIO ATTORNEY GENERAL TO AT LEAST GET MY MONEY FOR REPLACEMENT PARTS BACK BUT THE MOST REWARDING THING WOULD BE FOR THEM TO BE THROWN OUT OF BUSINESS, IT TOOK 7 WEEKS TO GET MY COMPUTER AFTER I ORDERED.
AND THEY ARE OUT OF BUSINESS NOW--NO THEY HAVE JUST CHANGED NAMES-- SHOULD BE AGAINST THE LAW.

"Help I have been ripped off by DIGIREX! My PC broke down and I have had it for under 1 year! What do I do? I mean , I am lost I dont know what to do. Where do I go? How do I get my money back? "I purchases a digirex computer last june, I have since sent it in two times to have it fixed, first a motherboard, and then a power supply. Now, I 'm having problems again. Constant blue screens and programs randomly shutting themselves down. Thought it was the hard drive, so I installed a new one, and loaded win 98 se fresh, but it didn't help. digirex's main oage is now blank. Yeah I got burned like the rest of you guys. Does anybody know how to go about contacting/dealing with digirex?"

"I got burned too. Contact the OH BBB, the FBI, and the OH Attorney General. They all have proceedures going against this company.

It would be understandable if they had notified all the customers that they had taken money from of their problems. But these guys just took the money and ran... and it appears that they just opened their doors as another company (DGZone)

"Ordered a PC from them on 12 January, 02. Despite their Web Site Claim of "Assemble, test, and ship within 7-10 Working days", it did not ship for seven weeks. When calling "Vladimir" about this he was very rude, and unprofessional. Oh, I NEVER received a written warranty, only "Vlad" saying" oh yeah, it's OK."

CD ROM - Did not work. Upon calling DIGIREX, I had the pleasure of speaking with "Vladimr" again. He told me that I, the customer could replace the CD ROM! They sent one in a box and basically told me I should install it. Once again, he was extremely rude and unprofessional.

CD Burner - Did not work. Upon calling the ever-so-friendly Vladimir, I was told basically it was "my problem." Uopn calling Creative Labs (Burner maker), I found out that the folks @ DIGIREX installed an old unit that was out of warranty. Keep in mind, that "Vlad" was "not about to replace the burner" and then when I tried to call again, the website and phone lines were down.

I reported all of this through the BBB, and gentleman from the Clevland Office informed me that "They have been using the BBB Logo on their website, and they are not even a member...".

Reading this forum, I guess I am one of the lucky ones...I actually GOT my PC, and after replacing the CD drives, it runs fantastic. But, in retrospect, the entire experience with them was a combination of frustration and disbelief ( Due to lack of professionalism, and poor attitude).

"Hello,
I am the first person who rated this company. Since that time I purchased several more computer systems, mainly barebones. However the last one was a near complete system for one of my clients. The computer was a disaster and it was the first time I experienced "motherboard meltdown". First it appeared to be the CDRW drive, then the HDD, then the IDE channels, etc...I'm sure you get the picture. Digirex was slow with delivery and response to the problems. However, in the final analysis, They replaced everything with better specs than before. It costed me alot of "free time" to troubleshoot the defective hardware, and my client was initially very upset. Ultimitely, she was very happy since she got a better computer as compensation from digirex for all the trouble. They did respond to most of my emails and phone calls and made it right. Whenever a substitution was made for any system I ordered it was for equal or better parts, so i can't complain about substitutions. The last time I heard from them was in January, 2002, when apparently they were infected with a virus and their customers were sent emails containing the infected file. No harm done here since i recognized it for what it was and informed them. Reselling hardware these days is extremely competetive and very tough to make a living which is why I don't do it myself. I suspect that they kept very little stock on hand because of constant price fluctuations, which resulted in very low prices but also slow shipping. In my opinion, the Russian guys at Digirex were competant techs and were really trying to please their customers. They were like a Mom and Pop shop on the Internet up against volume resellers like buy.com. They just couldn't make it, but I do believe they will pay people back to the best of their ability. i am sorry to see them go as i loved using their configurator.

"Thank God for this site !!!

I placed an order last night Sunday, May 12th on the Digirex configurator page.

I wanted to change the order and tried to contact the company.

Needless to say no one answered the phones.

After searching on the companies name I found this site.

I called my credit card company right away and they closed my account.

Trying to cancel the order and make sure that my credit card will not be billed I have a call in to the companies the Attorney Rabb-Davis, ***-***-****.

I am waiting for his call back.

I tried to contact one of the "managers" Simon Milauski and got someone who gave me HIS CELL PHONE NUMBER: ***-***-****.

No Answer though.

It is VERY strange that the following site:

http://www.mpcomp.com

uses the exact same configurator.

I tried calling their support and again no answer.

I suspect they may be the same people.

With any luck I will have stopped my credit card from being charged and saved myself piles of headache.

"Im sorry to hear that you all were caught in their fraud. I ordered a system back in June 2001, and after several phone call naggings, I finally got all my computer components months after ordering. Just recently, a faulty power suplpy caused my motherboard to snap and cease operation, costing me $250 to replace. When trying to contact Digirex for some tech support over this issue, I could not reach them due to their website closure and absence from their phones. I assumed their involvement in the BBB made them a good business... I was wrong. I wish the best of luck to you all."

"Hey, if any of you are still talking with the Ohio DA could you ask them why there are so many Hardware website companies in that same area in Solon Ohio? Maybe it is just some web designer that is making mega bucks off of recycling the same HTML source code and product database schema, but they all look very similar. I’d really like to know what is going on in that State and none of these hardware website companies are talking.

Just so everyone knows DigiRex is making money off of the months of interest on the money that they have stolen from us. So, in the end we might all get our money back but they will still walk away from it all with extra money in the bank. You should also mention this to the DA when you talk with them. I mean, they should give you back the interest on the money as well. Personally, I don’t care about the interest except I don’t want DigiRex getting it. I would hope that at the very least the DA will fine them in the amount of that interest and give it to a charity or something. Anything would be ok by me except letting DigiRex have it. Anyway, you should probably mention this as well when you talk with the DA.

"My order for $1307.77 never arrived. Their home page just displays a blank screen, but you can get to www.digirex.com/bb.htm to get to the contact phone numbers - which they do not answer, and their email addresses - which they do not reply to.
I sumbitted the dispute to Discover Card Dispute center, who has more resources than I to rectify this situation. Additionally, I filed a complaint with the BBB (www.bbbonline.com)

I contacted the lawyer again and he still states that they plan on paying back cash customers at the end of the month. Im not holding my breath but it would be nice.

Also I asked him about dgzone which he stated that some of the old employees of digirex may have been involved with starting dgzone but he said he did not really have any info on what was going on there.
