Poor customer service lied about shipping

"I ordered 3 indigo dye kits and 3 doz flour sack towels. I was assured that I was paying 50.00 for priority shipping and that my package would arrive on July 1. Well you guessed it, the items were not sent priority mail, not even sent 1st class. They were sent 3rd class parcel rate. I was told they never garuntee priory shipping or give a delivery date. The customer service rep told me I was lying about what their order rep stayed on the phone when placing the order. They will not guarantee shipping to Hawaii nor will they refund the outrageous shipping. I was told they never make mistakes in shipping and should have paid 75.00 for fed-ex shipping. I am still unable to track the package and have contacted my credit card company and canceled payment. When I told the customer rep I was contacting my CC company to withhold payment I was told I could not do this and they would fight the complaint. I am a business owner and never have I had a problem shipping flat rate priority Mail with USPS. Nor would I ever over charge shipping rates or be rude to my customers"

bad policies and bad service

"This happened in the fall but due to my disability I have had trouble finding a day where I have the energy and the mental clarity to do any complaints or reviews. My order was placed Sept 14, 2017, confirmed the 15th, invoice number 1953343.

They put my gallon of detergent in the same box with the dyes (in fragile jars of thin brittle plastic) causing a jar to be crushed and the parcel to leak dye everywhere, predictably. When I complained they criticized me for accepting the parcel (not bad enough it got dye all over several couriers, sorting facilities and workers, I should spread the suffering ever further!? and how was I to even know one could refuse a parcel?) and informed me they habitually take such risks to save money on shipping. Putting the dye and heavy items in two separate boxes would cost more. If I had been told that ahead of time I would have chosen to pay the extra fee!
I spent a total of five hours cleaning my car, the laundry room where I unpacked the parcel, and the products in the box (bags of chemicals and dyeable textiles) which was much harder for me than you can imagine as I am disabled. It was quite a nightmare- dye powder is very fine/light and gets everywhere!
The only apology I got from Dharma was a promise of a $10 off coupon on my next order! Far below minimum wage for the hours of work they caused me. And since of course I wouldn't dream of shopping with them again, so cannot redeem this coupon, I actually received NOTHING to compensate me for my trouble. My idea of a suitable resolution would have been a partial refund of my order cost, and a change in their practices so as to save others from what I went through: either package everything properly and charge more, or give customers the option between costlier leak-free shipping and cheaper but riskier shipping.
Very unprofessional and irresponsible.
I had signed on for a low-energy fun little hobby to help me pass the time since my disability renders me mostly housebound. Instead I got hours of misery, and not even any apology just "Oh yeah we do that intentionally to save money". Infuriating.

"It was worst experience ever to buy online. I have place the order, after one week I have received confirmation about shipping. When I contacted them to ask why I do not see moving of the package they informed me that they should charge me extra. Of corse I did not agreed on that and only after week they decided to cancel my order. "

"I bought some dye from them. They ship out very fast, either same day or the day after you pay. The only minor complaint I have is that I ordered 8oz. of dye, but got 7.6 oz, and that's WITH the double plastic bag they shipped it in. If weighed just the dye alone, it would be even less. Not too big of a deal, but just worthy to mention. That doesn't deserve one start taken off though."

"I have never received better service and quality. They ship things the day after ordered and they always arrive quickly. Prices are more than fair and the quality is fantastic.

I received a call a few hours after placing my order. They were out of stock of one of the items in my order. It happened to be an item I ordered 12 of in order to get a discounted price and with them being out of stock I only had 6. I did not want more in a different size so they honored the discounted price.

Also, they have a great sense of humor. :-)
