No communication

"Want others to know, would not recommend buying from this site. Don't like to leave negative comments, however don't want others to go through this either. Have sent 3 E-mails via their website and called multiple times (888.714.621) (no one responds, VM is full) to find out when item purchased will be shipped. After reading reviews, I'm requesting my money back from PayPal as I am not waiting months for this. "

Do not buy from Decor South

"I ordered a home bar the beginning of November 2020. I received a confirmation order number with no shipping date. I requested a date. This item had to be back ordered. No mention of this on the website. January 2021 no shipping date. Early February 2021 they asked if I wanted a refund or was willing to wait. I waited. Mid February they emailed the bar was being shipped. Week later they canceled the order stating they could not ship to Idaho. I suggested they find another shipper, as their mission statement says they ship all over. Do not buy from Decor South!"

Happy Ending

"I read all the negative reviews but went ahead and ordered four bar stools anyway. I emailed Decor South stating that I had read the reviews and hoped that I would not be yet another unhappy customer. They responded via email. That was the only time that I ever got a response from them. The bar stools were on back order. I tried to call them, email them, still no response. Finally, I decided to cancel my order via PayPal and I got an immediate response that they had been shipped out. I tracked the shipment and they arrived within one week!! I opened one of the boxes to check on the bar stool and it was perfect. Since we are moving in three months, I did not want to open the other boxes, but they state that they are the correct bar stools. The bar stools are beautiful!! THANK YOU, Decor South, for coming through!

Great service

"I ordered a bed from Decor South and then read some pretty bad reviews. I honestly tried to cancel after reading them but they had already shipped the bed. I am so glad it couldn't be cancelled. I contacted customer service 3 times thru email and every time they got back to me within a few hours. Overall wonderful service and at a price that was a few hundred below everybody. My bed was in perfect condition and superb quality. I will definitely order from this company again with no hesitations!!!!"

Great customer service

"I ordered a bed from them. I asked about shipping date and didn't hear back so I tried calling. Then I got online and got totally freaked out by reviews. But I hadn't checked my spam folder where their response had gone. I got my bed 5 days after ordering. One of the side rails was bent so I emailed them. They responded immediately and shipped out another. Product is as described. Will definitely be doing business with them again."

Non-existent customer service

"I ordered a bed and immediately received a confirmation email. That day, a temporary hold was placed on my credit card for the full amount. Everything seemed OK.

A week later I checked my credit card and the temporary hold was gone, but there was no record of the processed transaction either. Since my bed should have shipped by that time, I emailed for an update. After two days and no response, I searched their website forever trying to find a phone number, which they do not even list. I had to find their phone number on the Better Business Bureau's website. I left a voicemail, but it went unreturned. And no one picks up their phone. Ever. I tried calling at multiple times throughout the day, and every time it rang and rang before going to their useless voicemail.

I tried to give them every chance to just respond, but they are impossible to contact. Even if they had told me there were issues fulfilling the order or the shipment was damaged or delayed, that would have been fine. But to not get a single response back through phone or email, especially in this day and age, is very disappointing.

DO NOT BUY FROM DECOR SOUTH. The prices look great, but save yourself the trouble and spend a couple extra bucks to actually get what you ordered.

"Awesome customer service!! We purchased a coffee table and 2 end tables and one arrived damaged. They promptly replaced my broken item. Very easy to deal with and such a pleasure! Will definitely use them again. Prices were best on the internet as well. All around a win!"

"I wish I had read these reviews before ordering something from this company, then perhaps I would have known better. I ordered a sofa on March 7th and was informed it would take 5-7 business days for someone to call and arrange a shipping time. After emailing I was informed the sofa had been "damaged by the carrier" and there would be no more in stock until March 23rd. I decided to wait. On March 26th I emailed to double check the couch was on its way, but was informed they were STILL not in stock, I'd have to wait until April 6th. So I waited. And on April 6th they tell me April 10th. And on April 10th FINALLY my patience is rewarded and the couch is back in stock. But then, on April 13th when I ask for the tracking number somehow the couch has been damaged by the carrier FOR A SECOND TIME. How is this possible?! How are they using a carrier that routinely damages their products? And THEN they tell me there will be no more pieces in stock until April 21st. I cancelled my order, and hope to get my money back soon. Please DO NOT order from here. What a terribly stressful and time consuming experience. "

"Although the quality of the table we received was high, the customer service for this "business" has been awful! After deciding to return the table a (Due to a size issue for the space), we contacted DS within the designated time frame. After receiving their return policy and still having further questions (specifically about their shipping fees and lack of pick-up for returns), we left a voicemail with customer service. However, we have not been able to speak to an actual person-ever! We have left voice mails and emails every day for two solid weeks straight; no one has returned our calls or offered any solutions to our shipping issues."

"BAD BUSINESS. Ordered a table that came with 4 chairs + Ordered 2 additional chairs, a large entertainment media center, and a tall display cabinet. In all just under $3,000 in furniture. For me this is a very costly investment.

After adjusting my work schedule for the "shipment arrival" and removing my old furniture for the (7-10 days) arrival my family spent the next 2 month's eating on the dining room floor as the furniture did not arrive. Calls were never answered or returned. Email response was brief and did not address the problem, was only a variety of brief excuses. First being the EnTIRE order was damaged in shipment. Then told that wasn't the case, it's now" out of stock" (all 4 Items...ALL damaged then ALL out of stock...) really? If you do order from this company, do not expect accurate shipment details, or any notifications other than your credit card has been charged. Then when your concerned enough to ask questions do not expect to talk to a person at ANY point...ever. the phone number is there for PR purposes I guess no one will ever call you back. EVER. Email is your only option and they don't respond to all those either. What's funny is when they do FINALLY respond via email none of my concerns/complaints are addressed. Just a generic response.

Finally the order arrived and I was at least satisfied with the furniture. Oh wait...except the chairs...which were now STOOLS and did not fit under the table. And another chair is missing a chunk of wood. And of course this battle continues since there is no one to deal with directly and the emailing is just there way of wearing you down until you quit trying.

All I want is what I paid for, in NEW condition. All I expect from customer service is accurate shipoing/tracking information and updates if that information changes. I also expect to be able to speak to someone if I do have a complaint or concern. Other companies have sent me broken or defective items but usually seem interested in resolving the issue before I have to go complain online and reach out to the BBB. Not decor south. Good luck.

"Decor South has great customer service. I ordered a nightstand and unfortunately it was damaged when it arrived. I contacted Decor South, they asked for photos of the damage, then sent a new nightstand at no additional cost. The new nightstand arrived in perfect condition. I would definitely shop here again."

"I went thru what most also did if you read thru the other reviews... When my order didn't arrive after 10 business days, I went to their website and called the 800 number but no one ever answered, so I contacted them thru their website. My email was answered promptly. I was assured that my dresser was in route. By the 15th business day... I was really starting to feel duped... like my money was stolen, as my credit card had already been charged.... and my other problem was I really wanted the dresser!! It matched other furniture purchased years ago.... so I decided to wait it out. On the one hand I was glad I did wait it out because the dresser does match perfectly and it arrived beautifully intact, no scratches, no dents, or marrs what so ever. On the other hand... the lack of tracking information for the purchase was very upsetting... which made me wonder if this company was real or a fake website storefront. However, with all that being said, the product was as advertised online, the delivery company was on time and very professional. Would I ever order from this company again... probably but now I know that my order will take at least 28 business days to arrive ;)"

"DO NOT order from this company!!!!!!!!!!! Try to call them first and see if anyone answers the phone. All they have is an automated system that says all customer service reps are busy and if you leave your name and number they will call you back. Hahaha 3 days and around 10 messages I have yet to receive a call back! They took my money and now won't call or email me back! Most unprofessional company I have ever delt with. When I placed my order I wrote specific instructions not to debit my account until they were sure the had or could get this product. ( I told
them that I had just gotten my $ back from another company that said they couldn't get the couch. So guess what happened??????? They debited my account and don't have the couch and can't get it!!!!!!!! I think "Jeff" is running this so called business from his moms basement. He obviously can't read or return a phone call.
