Excellent service. Great experience

"I ordered from Steven Dann for the 1st time. I read reviews. Some were not so great but they had a pair of slacks I really wanted. They were on sale & sold out everywhere. I decided to ignore the bad reviews & order.
I had an easy checkout. I received a shipping confirmation with tracking that same day. FedEx had a delivery date of the next day! When I checked the tracking later, the delivery date was moved from Friday to Monday. That was FedEx's change. I received the pants on Monday.
What could be better than that? I would not hesitate to order from Steven Dann again. My experience was great. Perfect.

Fraud

"I ordered 2 pairs of shoes. My card was instantly charged. I never got an,email, never received the shoes. Tried to contact them. They have a nonworking email. Disputed the fraud with my credit card"

Stay away. Save your money and aggravation

"I placed an order. I got directed to paypal. The next day I recieved an email with Post office tracking. When I checked it2 days later it shows that it was delivered somewhere in California. I'm in NJ. When I email the company 3 times they do not respond. I've since disputed the charge with Visa. These people are horrible. Unfortunately I hadn't read the reviews before I made my purchase. I should have been smarter once the payment page was directed to paypal. "

PHENOMENAL Customer Service - Superb Quality!!!

"I ordered two personalized pieces of glassware for our son's wedding. I was up against a tight deadline and contacted Dann-Online.com to see if it was possible to receive the gifts
in time. Joan helped me work through the logistics to meet my needs. The two pieces were received timely and were very well packaged. The pieces were absolutely stunning. The engraving on the glass was top-notch. These gifts will certainly become family heirlooms for the newlyweds.

Absolutely terrible buying experience

"The shoes I received did not look like the shoes I saw on line. The size advertized was not available. They promised to give me a full refund and they did not honor that, even though all the errors were totally theirs. It is extremely difficult to talk with anyone. I will never do business with this company again. "

Great Experiences with Dann Online

"I have ordered several things with Dann Clothing with great results. They have high quality, unique merchandise. If you are expecting this to be like ordering from Amazon, think again. This is more of a concierge service where you can email or call with questions. I'm very grateful this is a more personal experience than many online shopping outlets."

"Terrible Service. Did not reimburse me after returning an item. Dann did not ship the order promptly and I waited three weeks to receive it. When I received my shipment, the items i ordered were not there. When I returned the wrong items, Dann claimed they did not receive the return and refused to reimburse me. All the while, Dann would not take phone calls and would not return email or days at a time."

"Very poor customer service. I reached out via email to inquire about a potential purchase. I asked how long would it take to arrive and stock questions because I'm leaving the country. Instead of answering my questions Joan assumed by my name that the item was for me and told me it was a mens item and I should be sure before purchasing. I responded to her email by telling her I have the same item different color same size from another site (not explaining this was for my husband in Japan) insisting that she just tell me how long it would take to arrive. So I could tell is it would arrive before I left town. They never responded and it's nearly a month later. I was sceptical due to the poorly navigated site, then reading the reviews but now I know first hand I dodged a bullet with this company and I found what I was looking for on another site half the price. It worked out. "

"We purchased a valet from Dann and wanted to return it for another one. After getting a return authorization from them we shipped the product back at our expense. We were told they never received it. After showing them UPS proof of delivery at their address, they then told us that the person who signed for it - Lee - had never worked for them. They then denied ever receiving any shipment from us. The company is a fraud and this is obvious from the other reviews on this site as they concur with ours. I will be contacting the Federal Trade Commission and I will be contacting their merchant banking service to inform them of this company's illicit activities. They ripped us off for $300.00. Period"

The few returns that I have had to make were handled expediently and without any issues. "Appalling customer service. The returns process was not only slow but downright combative, requiring many emails and an actual argument on the part of the merchant that they knew better than I did how clothing would fit. It's interesting to note that others have found their emails to be rude and/or nonresponsive; whether they're understaffed or simply convinced they are always right, they provided the worst customer experience I have encountered in many years of online shopping. (It's also interesting to note that the only positive review on this site is from the merchant himself, who asserts yet again that the customer is wrong.)
It's a shame, because I like their merchandise and would have made multiple purchases if they had processed a simple return quickly and cheerfully.
