Shocking After Sales Service

"
Dreadful after sales service. LG laptop keyboard failed after 18 months. Agreed to replace within 7 days free of charge under Consumer Rights Act. Failed to do so because LG spares not available. Shunted round 4 departments, all blaming the other. There is no customer complaints department and the email address for customer services generates an automatic response saying the address is no longer in use! Contacted LG direct and they could not advise on spare parts suggesting I go to an LG Service centre. Inputting a London Post code LG advised ther are no LG service centres in London! Do not buy LG products and do not buy from Curry's

Joke of a company

"Been 19 days and about 10 hours on the phone since my order was oleced i have still not recived my item or a refund.
Keep getting told it will be sorted and my case as been opend ( took 2 weeks for someone to give me a case number) customer service is just full a lies to get you off the phone.
managent are wosre was told they would phone me back and never have.

"Non existent customer service. Faulty cooker delivered and due to some very tight time constraints, (long story)I went and brought a replacement so that my electrician could wire it in and get us going straight away. I thought, no problem I'll sort the return & refund tomorrow. Several places on their website & their T&C's said I could return to a store. As I had literally nowhere to store this item while awaiting a lengthy collection process, I put in in the car and took it to my local store. The manager was really unhelpful said I couldn't return to store. So I left it with them anyway as I couldn't take it back. Then the lengthy saga of trying to contact customer service to explain where it was and for it to be uplifted. Their email address is no longer in service. The phone service after a lengthy wait said they couldn't help, neither could the online chat service. No one there will give you an email address to put your complaint in writing. They were happy to take my money and all is probably OK if you don't run into any problems.
So the faulty cooker is now in your Stratford upon Avon store awaiting Currys to process my refund, which I've been told I won't get. So all I have left is a letter before action followed by a Small Claims through the court system. I have used Currys many, many times before and never have has such poor service.

Poor, poor, poor!

"Paid extra for named day delivery. Currys couldn't manage that. Charged extra, paid in cash. Item delivered late. Box looked like it had been tampered with. Complained. Offered refund for extra charge, ok better than nothing. Eventually got refund, only part in cash, over a third in vouchers....for Currys! Funny joke Currys, bet you got a laugh out of that! I wouldn't shop with your company again if you paid me. Despicable company! Avoid, better service from online auction site!"

"**** company. Liars and cheats. Delievry drivers thick and stupid. Ryan Cant find address with Sat Nav these days. Did not wait, driver phoned and left within minutes before we could get back. Told us he willl come back at 6. LIAR! changed my slot to in 3 days time.LIARS LIARS AND ARSEHOLES"

The worst service on the planet! AVOID for any price.

"I have bought a washer-dryer at 21/01/2022 including the installation. The engineer came ans install it. He struggled with cold water feed but finally fixed that. I did some wash this day and was happy with it. Next time when I was trying to use the Washing machine it did not take water again and I spotted some leak underneath. I rang curries and arranged the engineer again for me. They work only till 17:00 Mon-Fri and each time I have to take a day off from my holidays.

The engineer came and say he cant pull the washing machine out and he is claiming a new machine for me. I told him that one is probably ok only the pipes mush be bent behind. He said it does not matter someone will call you today at 18:00 when you get home and arrange a new machine delivery at the weekend or late evening for me.

Nobody rang me by Tuesday (the visit was on Friday 25/02/2022). So I rang curries again. I was forwarded to 8 or 9 different people explaining every single one why I am ringing. It took me almost an hour go tet through a person who organised the visit again for another Friday.

Today is this Friday and I took 3rd day off to be able to be at home. The visit was scheduled between 10:40 and 14:40.

Nobody arrived and nobody contacted me. At 14:40 I received a text that they are very sorry they did not managed to arrive in the scheduled time and postpone it by Monday 7 March.

To sum it up. This is 6 weeks I am asking them to get it fixed. I cant wash my clothes for 6 weeks!

I rang carries to complain and they started forwarding me again to several people. It is just not worth it.

I am giving up I have already paid more than 100% for this washing machine if I include my 4 days off.
AVOID, they are amateurish and extremely useless.

They do not deserve to be on the market.

Horrible nasty store

"Went in store, sales assistant on mobile, didn't even know I was there, didn't even look up. Bunch of 'management staff' 10 feet away, discussing 'really important stuff'
Hey guys, don't worry about your customers, or training your incapable staff. Just you sit there discussing stuff and being very important.
Bought Parallels for Mac, as a bundle, with Windows 10.
Absolute pile of junk, asked for a credit (not a refund) Currys washing their hands of this, because I broke the seal.
"How else was i going to find out that this product sucked?"
Currys answer "contact Parallels support"
They also ****.
Currys customer service is non existent.
Wake up Britain, go online, stop putting up with this nonsense.
I will never, use Currys again, I don't care where I have to shop or how much more I have to spend.
I have just bought a Dell XPS15, not from Currys and I will buy my ceramic Apple watch, direct from Apple.
I am happy that I will never darken their door again.
Good bye and good riddance

Completely unhelpful when selling you faulty goods - DISGUSTING SERVICE

"Bough a Samsung washing machine, which unfortunately turned out to be faulty so cannot use. This discovered within their 30days faulty goods replacement policy, and having an absolute nightmare trying to sort it out. Curry's claims customer has to deal with Samsung to get an uplift number, even though my money went to Curry's, NOT Samsung. Samsung are impossible to deal with in any way shape or form and I am being passed around like a doll. Meanwhile I spent hundreds of pounds for an appliance which doesn't work and nobody is dealing with this!! Absolutely disgusting service, please please please think before you shop there as you will get done over. "

What a joke

"This is what it's like ordering a washing machine from Currys. 

Delivery drivers arrive. They proceed to: 

1. Initially refuse to install the washing machine, saying they had only been booked to deliver, forcing me to call Currys to sort it out (installation had already been paid for)
2. Crash their delivery van into the washing machine they were delivering, damaging it 
3. Speak very rudely to both myself and each other on numerous occasions 
5. Tell me they only had 10 minutes to be off site (how can they deliver, install, check, and remove that quickly?) 
6. Spend less than 30 seconds hooking up the new machine,  failing to notice their was an issue with the water line connection. 
7. Initially refuse to take my old machine away forcing me to call Curry's to sort it out (again)
8. Did not check machine was working, only pointing at it slowly spinning and saying "that means it works", ultimately leaving me with a non functioning machine 


Several days later another driver arrived to look at the machine. He proceeded to: 

1. Angrily berate me for not having answered the phone when he called "20 times" (he was calling the wrong number in spite of both my landlord and myself separately calling Currys to give them my mobile number and their call centre assuring me it was "in the notes." 
2. Tell me how the first crew that delivered my machine must have been "Asians/Indians" 
3. Tell me he wasn't racist before complaining about how angry it made him when he delivered to people who couldn't speak English properly.

About two weeks later Currys agreed to deliver a replacement machine between 1:00 pm and 4:59 pm. They didn't show up. At 6:00 pm, when the delivery had still not arrived, I called in and was told that the drivers were "stuck on another job" but they were sending out another van to finish off various jobs and that I would receive a call on my mobile within 20 minutes. I never received a call. Around 7:45 pm, the driver apparently arrived, called my elderly landlord's number, and began yelling at him about my no longer being there. My landlord pointed out that he was almost 3 hours late, and he became verbally abusive. My landlord asked him to discontinue his verbal abuse and the driver hung up on him. 

Delivery was rearranged for a couple of days later between 16:00 and 17:00. Instead, the delivery drivers arrived at approximately 3:00 pm. When I explained on the phone that they were early, and I wasn't there, they told me that they didn't know why they had been sent, since their shift ended at 16:00 and that I would have to reschedule again. I refused to accept this, and he eventually reached an agreement with his depot to return.

When the delivery men arrived they proceeded to initially refuse to install the washing machine or remove the old machine, saying they had only been booked to deliver. Pretty incredible when you consider they were delivering/installing a replacement. 

I emailed Currys describing my experience and asking for compensation for the inconvenience and additional costs that resulted, but not only did they refuse, they also refused to even discuss it with me further since my landlord had purchased the machine (I'm the one that was repeatedly inconvenienced).

You might save a bit of money buying from Currys, but I think it's worth asking yourself what your time and aggravation is worth.

"Bought an integrated fridge and paid for installation. Two guys arrive (cowboys would be the most appropriate and publishable description). Made a complete mess of it, door simply doesn't close. Called to complain. A week later we get a guy to come out to look (look being the operative word). Apparently there was a fixing bracket that wasn't fitted and nowhere to be found. He left saying he'd get it ordered. Chased when nothing heard after 3 days. New date given for someone to come. New guy arrives and doesn't know what he's come to do.......and obviously no missing part. Called again to be told no part had been ordered, but one will be and sent direct to us! Now awaiting for spare part and will obviously have to get them to come out again to fix! What a shambles........!

Update!
Sent wrong part.........my advice to anyone thinking about buying installation - DONT!

Complete shambles! Totally useless! Never, never again! Have emailed the Managing Director......l wonder if he will respond? Maybe l'll try BBC Watchdog next!

Update!
After several telephone calls (90% because nobody ever has the courtesy to call you back like they say they will)........still waiting! No missing part and can't find anyone to talk to who is dealing with this. Needless to say no one will call you back to tell you whats going on. Going to try BBC Watchdog now and then looks like its going to be a claim in the small claims court for reimbursement. My advice......buy your product from AO.com (who are brilliant but they don't install) and find a local tradesman on Checkatrade.co.uk. Simple!

"Purchased a tripod online using the 'Pay and Collect' facility. This took nearly a full week to arrive at my local store - far longer than if I was to have it delivered to a personal address - and then spent nearly 20 minutes in the store whilst they processed my collection.

When I got the item home and opened it they had used a very large mailing bag to wrap it around the box (rather than put it inside the bag). They had then used the sticky part of the bag and attached it to the box - which consequently damaged the box before I could even open it.

Item itself was very satisfactory - just a real shame about the delivery time and packaging!

"Went into my local Currys to buy one (Basingstoke) and waited 20 minutes for a member of staff... Had time to write the manager a note saying how poor the service was.
It's no wonder that DSG are in trouble with poor service like this.. Will be buying on-line from another retailer and never shopping in Curry's again.
