"Posting on a camera forum indicated that Cord Camera had a sale on the Nikkor 70-300 VRII lens for a great price with shipping included. Based on other forum members commenting on having prior good transactions and the price w/shipping being at least $70-100 lower than at other top-line vendors, I placed Internet order on 12/28/07.
Unfortunately, the orders exceeded the inventory on hand. Was notified by e-mail of this issue (albeit a few days later due to holiday weekend) and was given the option of cancelling w/full credit card refund or to wait for next shipment and they would honor the price (Original Sales price was indicated as being a mistake).
As promised, lens was shipped on 1/8/08; arrived on 1/14/08 and all was as promised/expected.
My KUDOS to Cord Camera for being proactive and following through with being a reputable and stand up Internet vendor. Highly recommend considering their offerings and doing business with them."

They contacted me that the only one they had left was a display model that was in mint condition. I am very picky on my cameras, but they assured me that if it was not mint that I could return it. I was not able to complete the transaction online because of a problem with their website and I ended up calling their 800 number. The woman answering the phone was efficient, courteous and knowledgeable. The order was shipped and delivered quickly and the lens was as expected with all warranty papers included. I would definitely purchase from this store again."
