"I tried to order an item from this store and it was listed on the detail page as "In Stock - Ships within 1 business day". But once I submitted my order (and provided payment information) the confirmation page had the item listed as Out of Stock! Out-of-stock items don't ship for up to 10 days. I could not wait that long, so I called customer service immediately to cancel the order. I asked for an email confirmation of the cancellation to be sent to me, but I did not get it right away. After an hour or so I went onto the page and submitted a cancellation request online, specifying that I just wanted to make sure that the order really had been canceled. The form response I got back said they might not be able to honor a cancellation, even if the item hasn't shipped! I'm still waiting to hear if the cancellation was successful.

Meanwhile, I went to another site to buy what I needed and the price was $12 instead of $21. For the exact same items!

This is not the first time I've had trouble with this site. My last purchase did not ship until I called customer service to complain. I never got any notice explaining the delay or apologizing for the inconvenience. The person I spoke with told me that the item was not in stock and I had "probably just missed it" when I submitted my order. Not overtly rude, but certainly not helpful either!

Stay far away! You can find Conair products at any number of other retailers; there is no reason to put up with this site's nonsense."
