"Overall not super happy with these guys, but at least I mostly got what I paid for. They had an excellent deal on P4 Xeon 2.8s, so I ordered two, along with 2 sticks of 1GB ECC REG PC2100 RAM - customer service called and told me they only had one of the processors in stock, and that they would ship it and then ship the second one later. A few days later, received one CPU and ONE stick of RAM, which turned out to be a used server pull. I tried to explain that I wanted to return the stick of RAM and apply the cost to the second CPU when it came available, but they couldn't seem to understand that. They told me they'd call me as soon as the second CPU came into stock - haven't heard from them since. Still not sure what to do about this stick of RAM - I need two matched sticks to use the system."

"BEWARE THIS DEALER! I recently ordered a 21" monitor from ComputerExpo.com (now called Computer Internet Needs) and was repulsed by their underhanded practices. First, I received a lesser model than advertised and paid for. Then, they charged me an extra $10 for picking it up, though their website and my online order form said nothing of this extra charge. Then they tried to charge me additional sales tax on top of the extra pick-up charge and the sales tax that had already been calculated, bringing my total up to about $45 more than the advertised price. To top it all off, they were exceedingly rude. When I asked for a copy of my invoice plus the extra charges that had been written on it, they had the nerve to rip it up right in front of me. Then they created a new invoice where they accounted for the higher charge by adding to the base price of the monitor -- talk about shady!

Most people don't have time to take such bad business practices to the FTC or BBB. This kind of fraudelence really hurts consumers because it takes too much time and resources to fight.

After the fact, I found loads of negative feedback that this dealer received, filed under their new business name: Computer Internet Needs. Anyways, be warned.

"If you are considering purchasing from this store, take my advice. DON’T! Although their prices are low, their service is either non-existant or just plain sucks. I placed an order online but didn’t get an automated response/order confirmation which is usually standard for web purchases. I called about five days later, and an employee took down my order number and phone number and said she would check their stock and call me back. She never called back. I waited two days and called again. This time they said they were out of stock. Less than 24 hours later, she called me back and said they had my part was “in stock” and asked if I still wanted it. Not so bad you say…keep reading. The day my part arrived, I open it to find it’s the wrong part. The specs don’t even match what’s printed on my receipt. I called back and was immediately greeted with skepticism like I was trying to cheat them even though the part they sent me retails for $40 more than the part I ordered. I was told to UPS it back and to include a UPS receipt for shipping reimbursement. She also told me to email them the UPS tracking number, so they could sent out the replacement part as soon as possible. I did so, but after talking to the same woman 2 days later (who acted like she didn’t even remember me), she said I would have to wait until my package was received for the replacement part to be sent out. This meant another 2-3 week delay. I reminded her of her promise to send it out once I verify a tracking number. She said she needed to check with a manager, so she took down my phone number and said she would call me back. Two days passed and she never called back. I decided to place my order at newegg.com and called Computerexpo to told them to issue me a refund once they received shipment. I find out later that the refund was short $46. They charged me a 15% restocking fee and didn’t reimburse me for either of the shipping charges even though it was their fault. Only after I called back and really started getting heated did they concede. Morale of the story: DON’T ORDER FROM THEM….PERIOD! "

"My order was back-ordered... Took to long to get item so I eventually cancelled. Website wasn't dazzling nor was customer service. At least it was easy for me to cancel my order. Possibly buy again, but only cuz of possible low price"
