"Avoid this company at all cost! i ordered a ASROCK K7VT4A PRO from them with a 2800+ xp chip. the board didnt accept any drives on the ide port, ide ports didnt work, they charged me a testing fee, so i called them and complained that they sent me a board that didnt work when i paid a testing fee. wth.. so i'm stuck with the board because neither compu terra (terror) and asrock wont accept responsibility for the bad motherboard. :( sigh!"

"I received the MB DOA, have tried to return the item and called the number that is provided on the website. The person that answers says that it is a home number. Checked their website again and the website seems to have nothing but broken links. I would never again buy from this company."
"Horrible customer service. That is all that I can say about these guys. I needed something overnight and they said they could do it and everything would be fine. I called multiple times and each time their sales associates assured me the items would ship out tonite from their warehouse and be in my hands by tomorrow. Well, at around 5:30pm (after most computer stores closed and online stores stopped shipping) I get a call from someone at Compu-Terra and I was told that he would not ship the items to me. Now, I needed this item by the next day and I was assured by the sales associates that it would be shipped out via fedex overnight. They never came through and now I am stuck because I needed these items for my business operations. I suggest to anyone that they never use these people. The sales associates say one thing and then switch their decisions at the last minute and place everyone in a hole. Thanks alot compu-terra, you made my day...stink!"
"Ordered an oem motherboard that they ran out of. They called me within 15 minutes to inform me that I could 'upgrade to the retail box'. When I told them I couldn't afford it, they sent it to me at the oem price! So far so good!"
"Very personal service. Got what I ordered, and at a very good price. Very happy with the customer service and I like the fact that when I call, they give you quick,personal service. This was actually the first company I ordered that actually called me to verify my order. Most online companies I've dealt with, I could only get an answering machine or an email address.... not to mention a real associate that was very helpful. "7Bytes/Compu-tera scammed me. They sold me Maxtor hard drives. They removed the serial numbers from the drives before they shipped them to me. The drives failed after a year (well within the standard Maxtor warranty.) I contacted Maxtor for repair on the drives. Maxtor said that the drives were "evaluation units" that were not for resale and not covered under warranty. I contacted 7Bytes by phone, fax, and e-mail. I never got a response. I finally "caught" Greg at his phone. He said, "we have a 30 day warranty on our goods. Beyond that, you're on your own." I wouldn't buy from 7Bytes on a bet."

"BEWARE! This company is a huge scam! I placed an order for a motherboard and processor retail. After my order i received an email to call them to verify my order. When i called I was conned into paying more for the retail package even though thats what I ordered to begin with. Nearly a week goes by since the "verification" call and my items still havent been processed. I called them back yesterday and the rep from the company assures me that my items will be sent that day. still not processed. This morning I sent an email to them stating I wanted my order cancelled and an immediate refund credited to my PayPal account or I would take action against them. Neither has happened. No response from the email. No answer to their phone. PLEASE DON'T FALL FOR THEIR SCHEME. AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THEY HAD THE PLAGUE."
"The order process on the website does not work. I called in. The sales person was very to understand. Tried to up grade my order twice. I refused. Then said the item was not available. Refused to let me talk to a supervisor. So since I was three quarters of the way through order process, I agreed to pay $10 extra. They call it Retail Version. The product arrived without a packing slip. The jumper settings for the CPU were incorrect. (they installed the CPU). The computer would not boot. Then when it did, the on-board video did not work. The ETH0 does not work. Why should I ever order from them again? Thanks for letting me vent."

"I ordered a motherboard K7S41GX and get in it's place a K7VM3. I wanted the 4 PCI slots and I get a board with two PCI slots. When I called I could not understand what the person was saying, he made it sound like I was getting a better board and charged me $16.85 more for this board that is a lesser board than what I was suppose to get. I got screwed on the transaction and would not buy anything else from you and would discourage other people from buying from you account of this. This is no way of doing bussiness. You will not see me any more for getting screwed like this. Getting a lesser board for $16.85 more.
