In November of 2014 I purchased a copy of Windows 8.1 Pro from Combosales.net. I was able to install and activate it at first. About two months go by and I had to reinstall the OS due to a malware infection. I used the same product key code, of course when doing this.

Windows would not activate. It said the key had been "blocked". I called Microsoft Support and they indicated the key in question, as provided by Combosales.net was fraudulent (the support rep said in fact "pirated").

Emails to Combosales.net to obtain a valid key and/or refund went unanswered.

This is a disreputable site/company from my experience. Stay away."
