"I'm a DIY type person. I ordered a set of Clearmask AR protective films for my new Jetta TDI. These arrived as promised. Timing and tools were as stated in the website. I did my own install. There is a learning curve on these, so if you can, start on the least obvious part that is also rated as easiest to install. I started with the hood, was fairly straight forward, but very obvious if there was a problem. I took my time, and everything went pretty much as expected. I did have some hazy spots on the hood, and fussed with one area a lot. I installed the hood, fender, mirror, front bumper, and headlight protection. I came back an hour later to fuss more and noticed what I thought was adhesive on the hood, as if it had come out from under the film. 20/20 hind-sight, I should have let things cure before I did ANYTHING. I didn't...I took some acetone to clean that off...HUGE mistake. That fogged the film! I let everything cure for a week, and with the exception of the area I messed up by being fussy, everything looks fantastic. I couldn't leave that fogged spot in the middle of my hood, so today I ordered a new hood only replacement part. I told the folks at Clearmask why I was ordering, as I didn't want the full kit, just the hood. To say they were fair to me on pricing for that part would be an understatement. They were TERRIFIC. I can't say enough about the level of service I received. I was so happy, I ordered a couple more pieces I had been thinking about putting on. If your considering paint protective film, these kits fit well, and you can have some level of confidence you're dealing with a very reputable outfit in Clearmask."
