"I purchased a Seiko Chrono from City Watches Manchester over one month ago.
Since then they have provided two false tracking numbers.
You can only contact them via email.
I have done on online search and found that the address in Manchester is a private residence. The company is in Singapore and has a UK domain.
Technically that means they are above UK law.
Natwest/RBS (My bank) are not being helpful with getting a reversal of the payment.
Long and the short of it, I have been scammed!

"I bought a Seiko SNK807 (this was made in China).
Not working out of the box.

After much hassle and attempts, they made clear that:
1) There's no warranty as the watch is bought from SINGAPORE
2) If I want to return the watch, I have to pay from my pocket, to return it to a suspicious address in USA.

So if you want peace of mind, buy from a known seller, as Amazon for example. They will accept your returns hassle free. If it's a bit more expensive, think of it as insurance in case you get a lemon."

" I searched for the watch I wanted to buy as a gift via google search. The company came up on the search engine as a uk company.
2- I placed the order, paid the amount requested and received two consecutive emails. These emails informed of the order and a dispatch.
3 - I checked the order after 4 days because I hadn't received the item and the address was a 10 - 15 minute car journey from my address. I couldn't track the order on the online site and I then checked reviews of the company which raised concerns. Some customers were having the same issue and claiming the company was based outside the UK.
4 - I raised two contact forms and send requests to the company asking why I couldn't track the item and why it hadn't arrived. It took 24 hours before I got a response informing me that I would receive the item in another 3-7 days. They also sent a tracking number which wasn't even registering on the Royal Mail tracking site.
5- I still couldn't trace any order on their website or via the tracking number provided for RM. The item has not arrived and I am left with another week to raise concerns and not get any information.
6- The address is advertised as Salford (UK) and a person called Sally was sending emails ?? Cleary the advertising of this company is false and the address and contact forms. This is not a UK company .
7- The tracking is not available.

1. A response from citywatches.co.UK - UK why advertise as UK and clearly do this to mislead customers. There's no information to state that your company is outside the UK.
2. Why have you put a UK address on the site ?? Why have you put false information on the site ??
3. You sent an email with a royal mail tracking link and tracking number to me email address after I asked where my item was. Why have you emailed false information to the customer??
4. Why have you put false information about the delivery time ( 5-7 days) ?? You told me the watch would be delivered within 5- 7 days when it had been dispatched and a week later when I couldn't find any tracking information you told me it would be 5- 7 days??? False advertising and clearly misleading the consumer.
THIS MUST BE REPORTED IMMEDIATELY."

"DO NOT USE. I bought a watch from this company, assuming it was a UK company (as it literally says this on their website) to make any potential returns etc easier. It is NOT a UK company. I received my watch and the dial wasn't right, the numbers weren't aligned to the dashes properly. I contacted them and they told me I had to post the watch back to their base in SINGAPORE at my own cost if I wanted them to do anything about it. The shipping time to Singapore is very long and very expensive, so I said it will probably get there after the 30 days returns period is up, and they couldn't guarantee they would even do anything about it if it arrived late. They expected me to send the watch to Singapore at my own cost when they couldn't even guarantee they'd send me a non-faulty one.They're a joke, don't waste your time with them. Now I've got a faulty watch and no since contact from City watches. Do not use them, doesn't even deserve 1 star."
