Shop somewhere else

"Place an order only half was ships called three times got three different replies along with barely being able to understand the person on the phone. Then given a fake tracking number when the product did show up they sent me the wrong color just to shut me up. Now they expect me to pay to ship it back and then knock off 15% otherwise in order to get a free shipping label for their mistake I have to take a Store refund and from what I'm reading from all the other reviews the bad ones that aren't on their website that they hide you not even get your store credit."

"Bought this tree end of 2020. This is first year to use. upon setting up 2 strands already not
working. It is not even Christmas and all but 2 strands have burned out as well. Very disappointing!!!

They don't stand behind the products they sell

"I purchased two strands of blue lights in November. My daughter liked them so much she hung them in her room after the holidays. They just stopped working a month after the three month warranty. The company refused to stand behind their product. I tried replacing the fuses but that did not help. I have had Christmas lights that have lasted more than twenty years, this is unacceptable. I wish I had read the reviews on this company before purchasing. I will not give them my business ever again!"

Not worthy of one atar

"Lousy customer service. I paid $27 for 12 green plastic shatterproof ornaments for a SPD outdoor display. Order was placed on 2/1/21. I immediately took the items out of the shipping box and inspected the ornaments stacked against each other in a clear plastic box. It looked okay. On 2/21/21 I took the ornaments out to display them only to discover one ball (wait for it) SHATTERED and the glittery one stacked against it crushed. Upon contacting this company I was told there are only 14 days to complain. Really? You sell CHRISTMAS decorations year round. If we buy them now on sale for next Christmas, why would we unbox every little piece 10 months in advance? They sell cheap (but charge $$$) stuff from China and do not stand by their products. Stay clear of Christmas Central. "

Damaged merchandise and COVID delay

"I purchased merchandise from them and it was damaged. Now they are not permitting a refund due to a time frame that clearly stated 90 days return policy which I am well within. I will never purchase from this store again and it is most unfortunate that Wal Mart is associated with this manufacturer."

"I ordered a scarf from Christmas Central on Dec 3rd, through Wal-Mart's website, along with other items (from Wal-Mart), for Christmas gifts. Didn't think there would be any problems, especially since Wal-Mart was allowing them. After it was supposedly shipped (7th), I asked them for a tracking number. First they sent me part of a usps tracking (not all numbers included), so when I checked with usps, it was "not found". Then I emailed again, and they sent me a ups tracking number, that had only received paperwork, not pkg. I tried calling, and kept getting an answering machine, so left message. It had been a few days, and still no word, or pkg., so I checked out the reviews for this company, and found many others that had same bad experience. They never got the merchandise or a refund! So, on Dec 15th, I contacted Wal-Mart, and they said that they would investigate. Seems a lot of other Wal-Mart shoppers got ripped off, too. Wal-Mart customer care took care of this right away, and on Dec. 22nd, I received the scarf (usps tracking number said it was shipped on Dec 15), just in time for Christmas :-) Many thankus again Wal-Mart, for your excellent customer care service, and resolving this :-) I won't be buying any more items from Christmas Central though."

"Don't waste your time with christmascentral. I placed an order for one item (a 24 pack of Christmas ornaments, nothing special) on Black Friday, expecting to have it shipped within a couple of business days. I received a shipment notification with an invalid tracking number. After contacting them about it, they said it was a mistake on the 2nd business day after my order was placed, they said it was an error and that my order will be shipped that day with a new tracking number. The next day, after not receiving a notice, I contacted them again, asking for a status update, in which I was told that my order was lost/misplaced and they're not sure what happened. They said they would rectify it and expedite my order. I still got no word on the 4th business day, in which I still haven't seen my order shipped. Conveniently, the customer service was very slow and unresponsive. Taking 30 minutes to just find out what was going on my order, and another 15 minutes to try and cancel my order.

Don't trust a company that only sells Christmas items but doesn't know how to handle orders at Christmas time.

"UPDATE: The shipment did finally arrive for this order and based on the company's reasonable response, I am changing my review to positive albeit late.

Original review:
Placed an order on Nov. 10th and they sent me an invalid tracking number the next day. 3 weeks after they took payment for my order, I contacted them and a rep told me they sent me an invoice number instead of a tracking number and to call back next week for the status as their warehouse was unavailable. Tried their live chat numerous times but it always says unavailable. Tried their cust service number every day for 5 days but no one ever answers. Tried their online email communication, but never received a response. So a month after my order, I had to dispute the charge with Paypal.

"Do NOT BUY HERE! These people have no clue what customer service is. Ordered ~$200.00 worth of lights, paid for 2nd day, took 2.5 days just to ship, even though items were in stock, their web site says next day shipping AND THEY SENT ME AN EMAIL SAYING IT SHIPPED THE NEXT DAY, BUT IT DID NOT!!!! They flat out LIED to me!!
The kicker; I even emailed them 3 times to make sure the order shipped on time, In the end, it will take 6 days to get a 2nd day air order. No apology, explanation, etc.

"I have had nothing but a great experience with this site. Although there was a small mix-up with my order, it was taken care of right away but the friendly customer service representatives. They have a great selection of fairly priced products, and I would definitely recommend this site to anyone. Check them out!"
