"This company charged me over $200 (shipping included) to rebond a broken plate. The job was less than outstanding, and I could have done just as good a job myself with Elmer's Glue to be honest.
Furthermore, my impression was that the estimate given me was for a complete restoration, not just gluing the plate back together...I was informed after I received the plate that total restoration would have cost approximately $1500! In addition, the shop was slow to ship the repaired plate back to me (which I was also charged for), after I called and was told the plate was finished.
I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone in the future. Over $200 to repair a broken plate that was only in four pieces seems exhorbitant for a job I could have done just as well in considerably less time and at a substantially lower cost.
Edited to add: I was unable to include an invoice number in this review because this store never provided me with any written invoice with the returned plate, or even a written estimate for the repairs. That's another complaint. Everything was handled over the phone. Not including an invoice showing work done and how the repairs were charged is highly unprofessional in my opinion."
