"I have purchased from check-o-matic before with no issues, but in my most recent purchase my checks were printed incorrectly. I called the customer service number to find out how to get a refund or exchange. The young lady I spoke to was not very helpful and only offered me a discount code to reorder. Considering the problem was created because of an error on their website, I didn't feel like this was a sufficient solution after I'd already spent over $70.00 on useless checks. I tried emailing customer service instead and was able to get much better results, and they sent me a new order free of charge. I will purchase from them again, and will email customer service from now on if I have any issues in the future. The checks are great; I use them with Quickbooks with no problems and they are much cheaper than Quickbooks checks. "

Bank routing/account numbers should never be sent insecurely (like through email).
Yes, these numbers are printed on the front of every check you write. They're also the only information someone needs to completely empty your bank account. This is especially a concern for business accounts which by law only have 24 hours to catch fraudulent transactions posted to their account. As a result, for your own protection, you should limit the distribution of these numbers to as few parties as possible. Personally, I treat them as _more_ sensitive than a credit card number.
The cavalier attitude that Check O Matic takes to a security concern like this really makes me wonder at how they approach security throughout their organization. I wish I had seen the previous review before placing my order, I would have gone elsewhere.
On the other hand, my order did ship the same day I ordered it and their prices seem reasonable. I haven't received it yet, so I can't speak to quality."

I visited their "secure" (htpps) website to order check. I entered all the details and right after I clicked on "order" button they emailed an acknowledgement to me, via open email, with all the "securely" entered information that I provided them.
Now, and for next 10 years or so, any crook with a scanner and sniffing software will have my routing number and account number - enough to clean my checking account of all funds.
I estimate that it will take me 100 to 200 hours to change my checking account and all the automatic transactions and deposits that I have on it, never mind having to do all these manually until the new system is in place."
"I had never heard of checkomatic, found them using google, ordered our first set of business checks, two weeks after receiving our order we received an email from checkomatic checking to see if everything was good with our order and if not to contact them. I was very impressed with the customer service of wanting to make sure we were pleased with our order. I will continue to use checkomatic for my check re-orders."
