"CheapOAir is a scam! I booked a flight for my brother from the Philippines to Canada. The first few searches I made showed lower prices. But as soon as I confirm, the price jumps $1000+ higher. When I finally found one that didn’t jump up, the flight to Canada and back to the Philippines had layovers in the US. There was no travel advisory that since it has a layover to the US for 2 hours, they would need to acquire C type transit visa. Needless to say my brother and sister in law were told by the airlines that they will not be allowed to board without the transit visas. Our mother paid $2980+. And as a gesture of their sincere apology, they were giving us $50 to use for next booking. They don’t want to cancel the flight or change the flight. My sister on law talked to the airlines and were told to talk to CheapOAir to help us get the flight changed so they didn’t need to have layovers to the US. But they can only offer us $50. Lots of videos and complaints on Facebook about people being scammed by this company!"
"Don't book Cheapoair tickets. When I booked the ticket on the right day but the idiots sent me the ticket for another day. When I contact them, they don't change the date. They do it wrong but won't change it for you. so never book tickets to this **** company"

"NIGHTMARE TO DEAL WITH. They took 1915$ from me and provided a fake credit that is worthless and unusable. And also put unautorized fees of my credit card. I filed a chargeback with my credit card provider. Do some research about them with google you will see there are thousands of horror stories about cheapoair .

"The name on the tickets was incorrect because of their buggy online interface. The online page do not give you a chance to check if everything is correct before proceeding. The name on the ticket appears wrong, and you need to call to correct the name. BUT the name cannot be correct, you have to cancel the ticket...will you get a full refund without a fight??? Then surprise the ticket you bought is no longer available. Proposal is completely different..."
"My wife an I booked an April 5 2019 flight home to Canada from Bali with Cheapo Air. Huge mistake! They are very good at taking your money but are terrible if you need any assistance after you book. We selected and paid for seats on-line for the gruelling 20 hour flights from Bali to Victoria. When we received our email confirming our seats we were not seated together and my wife had been placed in a centre seats on all flights! To add insult to injury they charged us for the centre seats my wife received! We have been in contact with a Cheapo web chat in Australia (12 hour time difference Bali to New York). This 30 minute "chat" with Cheapo Australia was a total waste of time. They suggested we call Air Canada ourselves! We called Air Canada, but they said "If you book through Cheapo you have to obtain your advance paid seats from Cheapo....you are better off booking with us as we can assist you directly and there is no price difference" Now the plane is nearly Full...only centre seats left and we are screwed. STAY AWAY FROM THIS TERRIBLE TRAVEL SERVICE!!"
