"Max helped me out this Christmas 2022! I ordered 4 Issues for my brother in law for our exchange. I though I ordered all in stock but 1 ended up being a special order. They helped me out, switched the Graphic Novel to the one they had in stock, which was even a SE-HC! No charge to me, which I offered to pay the difference. I also asked if they could drop ship it to him rather than it being sent to me (as he lives 4 hours away) and they said no problem! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I would highly recommend them to anyone trying to get great graphic novels!

"Truly the worst customer service experience I’ve ever received. They send me a book that seemed ok but was riddled with defects after opening. I called and they told me the buisness version of “**** for you, bye” never buy from them unless your wanna gamble your money and have them hide behind their ever changing “policies”"
"Purchased the Watchmen box set and the box set I received was Watchmen, but not the one in the picture that I wanted. I emailed them and received essentially a response that said "Refer to our FAQ it states that the pictures might differ from what you get". They didn't want to help me in any way. Their FAQ is a joke and is only there for cover their **** in the case of litigation. And to put the cherry on top of the fact they sent me something other than what I payed for, it came completely damaged, scuffed, covered in dirt, corners all damaged it looked like they kicked it around on the floor in their warehouse. This was my first time buying from them never will again and I STRONGLY recommend you avoid them. Why pay money for something if you're going to be rolling the dice on whether you even receive what was pictured on your purchase or not. What a joke."

"CheapGraphicNovels is a much less honest and lower quality version of InStockTrades. However unlike InStockTrades they have a really hard time dealing with damages. They label their books as new when they are clearly not. Even their Amazon page refuses refunds which is not something your even allowed to do. Instead of sending a replacement they said. "Most of the books are damaged for Uncanny X-men." Well I am going to tell you a secret. If all of your uncanny x-men books are damaged...your not supposed to sell broken things as "new". Just a terrible option in general.
Stay as far away as possible and only buy books if they are labeled as damaged or used. Their new copies are the same quality as a opened and damaged copy."
"Im not quite sure what they got going on but the 2 new books i ordered where obviously resealed by them. Not the tight factory seal. I cant say if they were read or if they get books that cant be sold as brand new elsewhere. Nothing on their site says why some prices are so low so i can only speculate. The books themselves seem to be ok other than the color of 1 cover seems faded when compared to the other 6 volumes. instocktrades will stay as my go to site to order, a few bucks more (sometimes less) is worth the piece of mind if something goes wrong."
"Received an order with damaged books (completely smashed in corners on two of four books). Clearly damaged before shipment (inside bag, no damage to box) and requested return info. Response informed me that I need to ship them back at my cost and then will be refunded the books, minus original shipment cost. Then I can reorder them, paying for shipment again. (This would make three shipment charges at my expense!) Please take this into account if you make purchase with this seller. They DO have competitive prices, but you will be very stuck if there is any issue with the order at all. I have been a good customer with them, but they have lost this customer."
"I purchased a graphic novel that was listed in "new" condition but when I received the book it was obviously not, looked to be read and had a ding on one of the corners. I should have realized as this was normally a book listed as "out of stock". No initial problem when I contacted customer service, was told to send the book back, which I did. My complaint is that they only reimbursed me for the cost of the book and NOT the initial shipping fee nor the return shipping fee! So basically I am out around $11 in shipping fees for a $19 book that I no longer have! I will never order from them again."
"I have purchased books from this site for years. I have never had the slightest issue with them. My only complaint would be the length of time it takes for them to process your order and ship it out, BUT when you take into account the amount of money you save over even Amazon.com, you begin to understand that some things are worth waiting for. I have never received a damaged product from them, and they always notify me if something I ordered is not in stock. I honestly do not understand the negative reviews I've read. It is like they have been going to a different site."
"I've had difficulty with some orders in the past (didn't ship on time, product wasn't in stock and wasn't notified about when the restock would be until I contacted them, etc.), but recently, they decided to combine two of my orders - one was 3 books and other one a single book - into the same shipment and then decided to pocket the extra shipping cost. When I inquired the matter with customer service, Max pointed to their Terms of Service as to giving them carte blanche on how they decide to ship recent orders and keeping the extra payment. I certainly won't buy from them anymore. I get much better service from InStockTrades."

And then when it arrives i get the book title i ordered but the cover is totally diffrent.I check my collection and it is one i already have.Come to find out they have multiple covers.So i contacted them asking to return book for store credit and me paying for the shipping.Was rudely told no so i open a dispute with paypal.Well since they are such adults max banned me from the site like a child.So yes they have low prices but you better hope nothing ever goes wrong and you complain.Bam you are banned.And then he bans my roommate for nothing.Bad buisness here folks."
