Finally, 8 weeks after ordering they emailed to say the entire order was shipped minus the main power unit which would be shipped from the manufacturer. Only about 1/3 of the order showed up and I have been emailing them for 2 weeks with absolutely no response. I have three different phone numbers for them and I have called dozens of times and they will not answer. "
"When ordering from your website it shows 3 vacuum bags. It said the word "Pack" therefore I thought I was going to receive 3 bags in the pack. I only received one bag. Therefore with shipping one vacuum bag cost me $17+. "
"I paid a lot of money for a replacement vacuum hose, but the hose didnt fit quite right so the vacuum is constantly turning on and off. I contacted them multiple times and they completely refused to replace the hose - they just keep making excuses. Don't buy from them - they'll sell you a defective product and refuse to replace it."

This year, we purchased two 50 foot Hide-a-Hose units (which we love) and attachment sets for our son's vacuum system. The folks at Central Vacuum Stores provided guidance on what to purchase to best met our needs, they tracked our orders and followed-up when shipments were delayed (a problem everywhere in 2021), they provided expert installation advice and were always willing to help. "In less than one year after spending $1,026 on their IMPERIUM CV 300 system, the relay connection failed. The main office was totally as useless as their warranty. Amanda at Lindsay Manufacturing finally was able to get us the correct relay switch which my husband installed and it worked again for a while. Still working today, except for the small hand held upholstery attachment that no longer works. Still working today, except for the main floor attachment that is suppose to be able to slide via the button to adjust to different lengths comfortable for the user. That broke several months ago. Yeah I waited a long time to do the review , got thinking about it today and said for over $ 1,000.00 why did I wait. Oh well never purchase from Central Vac. again. "

"Terrible delivery time and customer service! Ordered January 17, 2021 and received March 3, 2021. On February 2, 2021 I reached out to them to inquire about status. You cannot talk directly to Central Vacuum you need to email them. After another two weeks, I had to reach out to them again to inquire about the status and expressed that I had sold my house and needed it for an inspection. I was told in a reply email that my order would arrive just two days before my inspection date and was told that if I wanted to cancel my order, I could. Within 15 minutes I replied that I would cancel my order as I was nervous that Central Vacuum would not come through. I reluctantly ordered from Amazon (FOR CHEAPER) and got what I was needing the next day! Low and behold, a week later I received the canceled order from Central Vacuum. They took my money WAAAAAY back in January. I am currently building a new house with a central vac system and will just use the hose and head in my new home, but will not buy the canister or system from Central Vaccum. THEY **** (pardon the unintended pun) and not in a good way. Would like my money back just do to the terrible service!"

"I ordered replacement parts for my turbocat zoom vacuum. Roller brush, under plate and neck, along with a new low voltage hose and head, all at a great price.
It took some time to receive, just a bit over 2 months, BUT, I expected a wait with Covid19 and ordering non stocked parts.
I'm super happy with the parts and service I received from central vacuum stores. They even reached out and said it was taking longer than expected and would understand if I wanted to cancel, which I told them I wouldn't as long as they felt they could get the parts, which they did.

Then I had questions about the vacuum itself and no one has responded to that email, either! At least I ordered spare parts when I ordered my expensive vacuum head. I probably won’t be able to return it in the 30-day time frame since I’m not getting the info I need to help decide whether to keep it. What a ripoff. "
