"I placed an oder over the internet with this rip-off outfit almost a year ago. After numerous attempts to get my money returned, (they never shipped the phone,$316.19 for a Nokia N76)I have found this website. If it will prevent anyone else from getting ripped off like me, then I guess it's worth it. May they rot in H$#@!"

"I gave this company a shot, and wasn't pleased at all. A friend of mine recommended JAB Cellular (http://www.jabcellular.com)instead and so I too, gave them a shot. I order my Apple iPhone Factory Unlocked from them, and was SO much more pleased with my experience with JAB Cellular than Cellular-Blowout . JAB Cellular was amazing to work with, and I recieved my product two days later! Sorry cellular-blowout, I wont be back. Instead, I'll be using JAB Cellular (http://www.jabcellular.com) from here on out."

"PLEASE do NOT use this merchant!!! They are scammers!!! I ordered 2 cellphone cases, which appeared to be in stock. They immediately charged my credit card, then started sending me their apparently very standard email of "Your items are on backorder and we are working hard to get it shipped out to you." After 2 months of this, I finally cancelled the order and demanded that they credit my charge card. I have reported them to the BB, but they have apparently refused to respond. After all of this, I'm STILL getting the 'still on backorder' emails!"

"Ordered an unlocked Motorola cell phone and paid through PayPal. It was listed as "in stock". First they claimed there was a payment problem. I sent them an e-mail which cleared up that problem. Then they claimed they were awaiting a new supply although their web site continued to list the item as being "in stock". I then made several calls to their "resolution" phone number which were not answered in line with the many e-mails that they ignored. Finally I cancelled the order which they failed to acknowledge. It wasn't until I used PayPal's torturous (and idiotic) complaint mechanism that Cellular Blowout showed my order as cancelled and returned my money to my credit card.
I'll never do business with that two bit outfit again and I am amzed at the relatively high rating you give them.

"I won't call them names, though I'm quite tempted to. When I've lost my patience with them I was able to recover my payment via PayPal (luckily I've used it for this purchase). Below is my request to PayPal that includes problem description and my correspondence with cellular-blowout.

It's all in my correspondence below. After sending me a WRONG item for the SECOND time, the seller has stopped responding to my requests. No response on e-mails, and no customer number to call. The one I've found via BBB just refers back to totally unresponsive customer service mail submission. I'm willing to get the correct item that I've ordered - Samsung SGH-P777 Wall Travel Charger. If seller is incapable to ship it, I request a full refund of my purchase.

"terrible company i made a purchase for a sony ericsson phone and they emailed and said it was on backorder but they said that they had it in stock now, but i ordered this item like 2 months ago and i got one email saying it was instock but they never replied. I left numerous messages on their customer service line but since nobody answered it is really frusturating. This buyer will NEVER!!!!! shop at Cellular blowout AGAIN. they still havent got back to me. Terrible customer service. worst online merchant ever!!!!!!!! Gonna cancel order. if you have any advice post a comment here."

"Check recent ratings. Cellular-Blowout shipped the wrong item. I tried to contact them, but the E-mail addresses found on the web site were not valid, neither ****@**** nor ****@****. I left two phone messages, on Friday and Monday, neither of which were returned. A few days later, after stopping the credit card charge, I received an E-mail from David, who explained that they were extremely backlogged. They shipped the proper item, which I received a couple of days later. I reinstated the credit card charge. I cannot state with certainty whether this merchant is reliable or not."

"I needed a phone in a little over a week so ordered one that was in stock and per the website that shipped next day. Next day went by with no email. No response after 2 days.. got fed up and tried canceling via phone (can only get voicemail) and email (no response). I had Amex do a chargeback. They have not reached anyone yet either. Funny enough it did ship a week later but I had already ordered from somewhere else AND got my phone. Note how all the good reviewers have 1 review."
