"Cavision sells custom made accessories for video and film professionals including director's viewfinders, boompoles, filters, and matte boxes. Although I do not have much experience with matte boxes, I purchased what appears to be a very well designed, solidly constructed matte box from Cavision for my digital video camera. I am extremely happy with the product and with Cavision's high level of service. I appreciate how they responded to email within a day, and were always willing to help whenever I had questions. They have great support for their products. When I noticed that the adapter ring on my matte box seemed a bit off they gave me another one at no charge and without any hassle whatsoever. They even tried to talk me out of sending it via FedEX because they wanted to save me money on shipping.
The only reserve I think some might have ordering from Cavision is that because they are located in Canada, unless you live there, you will be subject to customs fees. But despite this extra charge - unavoidable for US customers buying from anywhere in Canada - I will not hesitate to shop from them again. This is a terrific company where I feel confidant shopping from, and I am already planning on purchasing from them again for some of my future filmmaking needs. Cavision believes in the products they sell."
