After another week Steve wrote that they were unable to unlock my old iPhone 6 locked to Bell. And he wrote that they were refunding the full amount charged. I really expected a partial refund since they did spend time trying. But it all was returned. Great to know that there are honest folks when you deal with these type of issues. "I purchased a new iPhone SE from a third party source and realized the sim was locked to the provider. I then went to Bell to have them unlock it( since phones have to be unlocked since 2017) but they told me there was nothing they could do since I did not have the last number for the phone.
