"Although the most recent shipment appeared to be in tact at the time of receipt, there was a great deal of damage when the cabinets were received, including dents, scratches, loose joints, etc. This leads us to believe that the cabinets were damaged prior to shipping or not properly packaged.

We did not file a claim because, based on prior experience, damage replacements take just as long as the original order to arrive; except for small pieces, replacement orders are not rushed. We had to correct the problems ourselves in order to keep our time and quality commitments to our customers, costing time and money. The back end customer service team is very non plussed with regard to promptly rectifying quality issues.

Without the great front end customer service from Vanessa, our business would have been taken elsewhere by now. We are currently seeking other options for sourcing our cabinet needs going forward."

"being an architect and deciding to redesign our kitchen was not something I was looking forward to. However, being an amateur cook the redesign was more appealing :-). The online design tool is very intuitive and easy to use. Having the correct dimensions is critical of course, but once you have them its an easy process of inputting into the software. I created multiple layouts by copying previous designs and modifying them, which again, was simple. However, admittedly, although Im an architect, I have a general sense of kitchen design but Im not that well versed in proper spacing and all the options. This is where the kitchen designer comes in. Once I had a general layout that I was happy with I began working with a cabinets.com designer. I had the great pleasure of working with Sara C. She was absolutely AMAZING. It was a long process, because of the changes I made along the way. But at each change Sara was super accommodating and always offered suggestions and came through with revised plans and 3D drawings. I just placed the order and very excited to get this project going. "

I did have guts with trying to get their designer to order the cabinet I wanted. Three times I explained the distance from the wall to the center of the sink window being 65 inches. So A 21 inch cabinet and 2 feet of dishwasher space and 1/2 of a three foot wide sink basin is 63 inches. With a 1 1/2 inch wall spacer and say 1/2 inch for dishwasher room you get 65 inches. Exactly the center of the window sink. I was told three times it would not fit and she wanted to reduce the 21 inch base cabinet to 18 inches. So frustrating I was annoyed and didn't want to give Cabinets.com the order. Because I liked their cabinet color choices I did order but changed to a 21 inch wide cabinet on the detailed order list.
