"I haven't been here very long, and the pandemic has really prevented me from seeing the classroom or interacting with the teachers much beyond the phone app and the occasions when his teacher or the school director are closing. But so far everyone has been really friendly, my son always seems to have enjoyed his day, and he seems to definitely be picking up good behaviors there. I really appreciate the extra help the school director gives me when she's able. I do believe she genuinely cares about the children under her care."

I like my boys' teacher, as she professional and communicates well, but I do not care for the director. I feel that she is deceptive and insincere, and frankly, I do not like interacting with her. "I just witnessed a staff member via WatchMeGrow take a spoon out of a child's (not my child) hand, while he was still trying to eat and finish his lunch, and then grabbed his plate and tossed it in the trash. The boy look confused. I know you can't hear what is being said through WatchMeGrow, but judging by that boys reaction, I'd say that he wasn't too happy about that.
I know most daycare's have schedules, but to not meet the needs of the child FIRST, is wrong. I'm pretty sure they can delay their scheduled times by a few minutes so a child can finish eating. I worked in daycare for 3 years, and what I just witnessed is very concerning. I already have my issues with this facility in a previous post. The Childtime website needs a way to contact corporate office, because I have spoken with the director and she tried to blame stuff on stress from Imelda and blow it off. I called her out on that. She didn't say much after that. I told her I'd love to set up a time to meet with her to discuss other concerns that I expressed on brightwheel, but nothing has been arranged yet. Honestly at this point, something else needs to be done."

"Not pleasant. My son cannot communicate like a normal 3yr old, he is autistic, and I think that is used as an excuse by his teachers to not give him the same attention he needs and deserves. They should be guiding, teaching, loving, & nurturing him. I do not see that on a daily basis. It took me telling them that in order for them to start doing it. There was no initiative on their behalf. They failed my son. They failed as a teacher. This particular facility is older and needs a serious upgrade. It is cold and unwelcoming. There are no smiles or love in the preschool classrooms. Except for one teacher, the only teacher at this facility that I have seen approach my child with compassion and empathy.Who got on his level to communicate with him.Who smiled at him.Who smiled at me and introduced herself when I met her for the first time, who told me how sweet my son was and how he would hug her.Thats significant because he doesn't do that for everyone. Which says a lot about her character."

"All of the teachers we have had have been absolutely phenomenal. They have all been caring and passionate and amazing with my kids. JoDee was also such a great source of calm and reassurance when kids were crazy or having a less than stellar day!"
