"The cost of daycare is a massive problem, and it is the single biggest reason my family struggles meeting our financial goals. We chose to have kids 5 years apart for the sole reason that we couldn't possibly afford 2 in daycare at the same time. We utilize it because we have no other option and have to work. Childtime is competitive among other daycare options but that's not a compliment as the general cost of daycare is an anchor around the neck of young families. I have no complaints about the services provided or the staff at our location, and these comments have nothing to do with them we generally like the people who have cared for our kids but if I could find a similar service at a lower cost I'd be gone in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, every daycare service is unaffordable so we're left to choose between bad, awful, and terrible."

"Our family loves Chidltime Delmar. The staff and teachers have it dialed in and have done an incredible job running the school through these bumpy few years. We've seen a lot of turn over since starting with the school back in 2019 and I think the management staff is the strongest group of leaders we've worked with. Though it feels like it's slowing down, there has been quite a bit of teacher/aide turn over in the past so any increase in pay or benefits that could entice and keep these great educators is always encouraged. We pay almost $300/week for one child which feels like there should be room for paying our teachers a meaningful salary to keep them!"

The teachers are not seeing more money from these price increases. I wouldn't mind paying what I pay of the teachers had living wages but I have yet to see that."

"Overall we have found the care provided to be acceptable but far from exceptional. There are a couple of teachers who seem to go above and beyond and truly care for and nurture the children. However, mostly the staff seem young, inexperienced and not committed to really nurturing the children. We received very few updates or information regarding curriculum and development/learning. We noticed on the live stream that the children did a lot of independent play with minimal engagement from the adults in the room who would be chatting amongst themselves or working on something else. Overall we always feel that our child is safe, fed and supervised there. However, enrichment, adult engagement and true nurturing is mostly lacking in the current classroom."
