"I have been a CDJapan customer for 10 years, since 2012. They are my go-to store for J-Pop/Idol goods (CD’s/DVD’s/Blu-ray’s/Books) and I’ve always had excellent service from them.
Items always arrive in good time (I normally select a delivery option that lets me track the order) and well packaged so I’ve never had any issues with any of my orders.
Shipping prices have increased recently due to Covid, and now the crisis in Ukraine, but still seem reasonable to me.
I’ve also used their proxy service which I’ve found extremely useful if I’m trying to source a rare item.
I’m looking forward to another 10+ years with them!

I purchased an UYEDA BISYODO Foundation Brush Puffy from CD Japan in 2020. My sole reason for purchasing this brush was I really wanted to own a Saikoho grade brush. The product was advertised as having high-grade Saikoho hair on CD Japan's website. As I live in the UK, the postage, DLH admin charges and customs cost are the same as the price of the brush; thereby, doubling its cost.
Later CD Japan changed the product description and stated the brush was made out of lower quality Sohoko hair (instead of Saikoho). I emailed CD Japan to ask if my brush was made out of Saikoho or Sohoko and was told they made an error on their website and it was made from a lower quality hair and not the hair they advertised.
To my utter shock, however, someone name "Yukie" said she will not return the misrepresented item for a refund as it is my fault I didn't get my item authenticated by an expert to discover their mistake within 30 days and I have opened the item.
"Yukie" also said I didn't deserve a refund as although they sold me a brush is made from inferior batch of hair by lying it was Saikoho grade, I could still use the inferior brush.
LYING ABOUT THE QUALITY OF YOUR PRODUCTS AND POCKETING MONEY IS A SCAM, FRAUD and THEFT. SHAME ON YOU CD JAPAN!"

"Ever since I returned from my studies in Japan there has been a hole missing in my life. The biggest part of that hole has been the Japanese music.
